Yeah.. I got excited at the end of March when it was supposed to be released so don't hold your breath. At this point it is best to just forget about it and if it gets released in a few months that will be a bonus. I gladly purchased the golden ham but didn't know it would be so long or I would have asked for a refund. I know they are working on it but an update every couple of weeks or something would be appreciated. Not concerned about the money at all but it would be nice to have something you paid for is all. :(

Ditto, didn't ask for a refund under the assumption that the game would be fixed much sooner...

30 days no update here or on Red Winter's site. Abandonware? Hope not, game has so much potential.

I doubt it's abandoned because pretty much it was "done" but had a bunch of glitches and bad gameplay decisions. They just need to work on that but don't hold your breath, I'm sure they're thinking they'll finish when they finish.

I'd imagine they're hemorrhaging money at this point, with all the probable refunds. I'm ok with that, cause from a financial perspective, they did everything possibly wrong with this release.

Well, here is to hoping the testers do well finding bugs and the game finally makes it's way in the App Store and I can get my update. I am excited to see the fixes and improvements. I have my hesitations but I really want this to be good game.

Wow... I still have it on my Ipad, but it's insane to do the 2nd dungeon.
Everything breaks after 1 round and I need so much items to get it repaired, that's not even funny anymore.

Well I sure hope the devs plan to work out some way to compensate folks that paid for anything thst is no longer in the game.

This app is certainly one that will go into the books as an app that wasn't tested, released way too early, pulled and then redone. Gee, what other thing could happen...maybe test it more?? Been close to 6 months or more (no?) since it was released to much fanfare and lost lots of people due to bugs and problems...

There's been a lot of that going around in the App Store lately it seems; released and then pulled in a week... This is one of three games I have purchased this year that was immediately removed from the App Store to be "fixed" and has taken some time to return. The other two games I purchased still have yet to make their return (Rogue Heroes and I can't think of the other one)! Apparently, I've been having a bad run of luck with purchases lately!

    (Sarcasm mode on)

Ok just tell us the ones you plan to purchase so everyone else can avoid them!!
    (Sarcasm mode off)

Well I wish developers would test their apps vs going for the quick buck. This one definitely did the latter and probably ruin their reputation for quite some time. Sure this was an app that people were looking for but maybe everyone learned that anticipated apps sometimes don't work out.

I completely disagree he wasn't going for a quick buck and if you ever spoke to him you'd know that. He wanted to make a good game that people would enjoy and sadly it just didn't go that way because of ways the game was changed and how things were implemented vs the first game.

Sorry, I have to disagree. If the game/app isn't ready you don't release it, plain and simple. He did and still 4 months later there still is no "updated" app. Plus now some items that were purchased previously are no longer are applicable now?!?! If those two items are NOT quick buck items, you must be living in a fantasy world.

Yes I wanted the app as advertise, but one should NEVER release a product that is not ready PERIOD. The damage is now done and there is no way to unchanged peoples mind that this was a flat out bad product. And the more time the developer takes to correct the issues just reinforces the app was not even close to ready.

This is why you do soft launches and/or beta tests. This app had neither it would seem.

I have been in the software business for 30 years and you have to make tough choices. The decision to release a product should be carefully weighed out. Since once you release a flawed product you have effectively doomed your product to the core people you are trying to sell to.
