Recreated dungeon start screen. It's more like in Dungelot 1. Many screens will contain " ? " button with help descriptions. There will be 4 bosses from now. Three of them will drop artifacts and the last one will drop master key for the next dungeon. All dungeons will contain special relic that give permanent boosts if you collect all 4 pieces of it. This is just for making exploring dungeons more fun + nice power up for hero. Tavern goes inside game as it was in first part. Players take all cash they have to dungeons. We decided to go further in our fixes and implementations so I don't expect that we finish faster than in month or so. Before releasing I'll gladly ask 10-15 people from this forum to test everything. Cheers
Looks great. I'll wait a month if everything can get smoothened correctly. I'd only disagree because I've been cheated out of unlocking a character so having a "good run" could bug or glitch out and you'd either 1) lose everything you accumulated, 2) lose you stat bonuses - purchased or not, 3) skip past the boss and get absolutely nothing, 4) game just doesn't reload so you lost everything. And this happened to me which is why I deleted it. I will give it a chance if all the updates change up the game like listed previously.
Cool cool. This is definitely one of the best games I've played. The direction and grinding is actually fun. I hate premade stages I have to beat like angry birds or something. A touch of randomness and chance is always welcome. Good luck fixing up the game!
I don't know why the game was so broken at launch. It's crazy to think on the many levels that it was. Having said that I think that you are going about it the right way to fixing it up. You don't know how frustrating it is to play a game with this much graphic polish and potential and then deal with all the broken things. I feel like a spoiled brat on my device that just has to play it now. The game just hits a itch for me on how it plays out. I very much enjoy the randomness of the game and look forward to seeing this game fixed up and played like the first one. I don't enjoy seeing how it all ended up but I like the fixes you are working on and i am confident it will earn it's name Dungelot. Now, if only I could be more patient waiting for the fixes. The brat in me wants it yesterday!
PM me as I'll look first people from message box And you must be very angry player who hate dungelot. This is optional Or much better if you good in testing and can find bugs.
Death Golf? Worms Crazy Golf? That's all I can think of. Thanks for the latest update Pixeye. Sounds good. Take the time needed. Looking forward to playing again.
the changes looks good i may just delete this version and start from scrath when the update arrives, still i hope this doesn't become too easy now
Dear developer, I need to know either i need to keep the old version of dungelot 2 and wait for updates or remove it completely from my device? because i saw the new is completely different from previous one...
From what I knew non-consumables purchases will be restored by apple even if you reinstall app. All currency and main data must remain. It will be more clear in next weeks and I'll inform about all changes. We didn't remove app from appstore as we want to make update of a game without or little data loss
God, I hope so. In 2 days of play I found 1 rune. That's beyond stingy. How precisely did that get missed? Also, how come all of them cost 3 to cancel when some of them are much more detrimental to the player than others and you are so stingy about mana? I've had as many as 5 totems in a level, but I have yet to get more than 2 mana in a level - with no consumable mana refills, that's an impossible proposition. There definitely is. Given how much work you have to go through to get and upgrade an item, that seems fair. Will you also be removing the loot item that serves no purpose but to represent a consumable to repair items? Excellent to hear! The lack of ability to do this was one of my biggest complaints over the first one. Again - how did this get missed the first time?
The first game was Awesome. This game is an IAP suck fest. I used to be able to get 40-60 dungeons in and could unlock the new characters. Now the prices are so high and everything so difficult that they are making you pay to win. It sucks.
Pixeye, I fully support your decision to work a little longer to make the game better, and I don't want to divert you from that, but I wonder if a small patch could be done to fix the ham timer resetting and the golden ham?
That's probably not going to happen since the game is removed from the appstore. The next time you'll see the game is probably after most of the issues he found get fixed.
In the first one there was an update that cleared progress if I recall. It was ok because it was a significant update so I didn't mind. Do you think that is what will happen here? I WANT to keep playing! Things are very random I see because I get a few more runes than folks report here. I get one every other play through I guess. I bought the unlimited ham and though it still shows as available for purchase I DO have unlimited ham. No waiting for turns and they always say 12. I guess it should be clearer that you have the unlimited hams. I will definitely keep playing and/or help Pixeye with testing the new version.
Wow seriously... I played dungelot 1 extensively, big fan immediately downloaded this... Free not good, how bad can it be right? Boy was I surprised at the ridiculousness that is dungelot 2. Skills are crap useless cost a ton of money and really don't help at all, abilities can't be upgraded, weapons are all 1 time exhaustible upgrades. In other words, pay me money or u gonna die on floor 5. You can repeat the cycle 100x get money and buy all the skills and still you will die on floor 5. And I thought Gameloft was bad when they destroyed their games with IAP, at least it was playable for a few levels. This puts the un passable paywall immediately on your face. Deleted
There are one-time weapons and also permanent equipment, you have to kill bosses to get the equipment. First piece is a sword, helps a ton. Game is misery until you get the sword.
There are definitely some design choices I don't particularly care for, but I think with the bug fixes and a little tweaking, this game will be phenomenal. There really is a gem here. One big issue I have with this game, though, is the chance of losing progress. I don't mind progress being gated in ways that might encourage people to spend cash on iap, but game mechanics that force regression completely turns me off. Items losing level upgrades when they break is one of those mechanics. Who on earth would I ever spend real money on game currency to upgrade items if that upgrade could be randomly removed on any play through? It certainly doesn't compell me to spend any money on iap. If I choose to spend money to get ahead, the game shouldn't randomly delete that amount of progress. The bandits holding you up for an item is another one. Who would ever choose to hand over an item, especially after spending some time or money on upgrading it? I like the random danger and the option of being able to choose how to respond, but taking an item is simply too much. They should demand a percentage of the gold you have collected from that run (only from that run, not from the player's overall amount of gold). I also feel the health penalty for defending yourself is way too high. There are other things I would like to see improved, but they are among the things that many others have already mentioned, so I'll leave it at that. I have confidence that the devs will patch up and polish this game into something wonderful. It really is a great game, once you look past the current issues. Looking forward to seeing the update!
