I had reported the same with screenshot. No reaction whatsoever. Doesnt matter as now the game doesnt even START ANYMORE.. After playing for hours, buying ham and all that crap. Damnit, disappointment of the year.
I just experienced another bug today, which is health and mana being completely depleted for no reason. First, upon going to a new dungeon floor, my mana went from 11 to 0 instantly. Then just now, I started a dungeon fresh, and my health went from 62 to 1 instantly and I was killed right away. Anyone else experience this? ETA: will weapon/armor repair be tweaked in the update? I'll farm the first dungeon for ingots and after repairing, one dungeon run will break them again, so I have to go and farm more. I don't mind the repair feature at all, but having to farm ingots almost every other run is tedious.
@PIXEYE Another bug found, this ones bad. I was continuing to play and was in the second dungeon when after beating the 3rd key boss the game froze. One my screen again was the 20% accuracy debuff from the monester who disapears as you open the tiles around him. This time was differnt however because when i restarted it saved somehow even tho i never got out of the dungeon. The lair was unlocked and i now had the gurdian shiled however the new champion, the mage, was not unlocked. Not sure what i can do to unlock him now? Man i realy love playing your game REALY REALY looking forward to the polished version. Even with the bugs i cant seem to keep away! Keep up the good work, im glad your not getting offended by feedback but are getting right on the fixes!
Agree. Right now I'm working on making gameplay without any freezings. Hope to finish this part till tomorrow. Main issue is with game layers. As I understand you still can tap buttons/hero in dungeon even if you can't tap dungeon cells because of game layer mismatch. Cheers!
I've unlocked Bayrock and I'm assuming that's how you get the Merc but she's not selectable and it still says Set Bayrock free. Is this a glitch? Does that mean I'm stuck with the starting character for the entire game?
I missed being able to sell any spells that I didn't want as well as not having to have to buy an extra slot so I could use more than one attribute. Also being penalized, for buying a spell, with the cooldown is lame.
@PIXEYE Yes I've seen this issue before but the issue here is that the third dungeon was unlocked but now I I still can't use the Mage hero which is supposed to unlock when I unlock the Mage. Now that the dungeon is unlocked how can I use the Mage? The select button is grated out on him and is says I must free the lair in order to play him. The lair is open to play(cool tile set and monsters btw) but not the hero. Have you seen this before? Thought in fixing it? AS ALWAYS THANKS FOR RESPONDING IT SAY ALOT ABOUT YOU AS A DEVELOPER!
Does anyone else have the problem that the game freezes at start (before logo)? If I delete it, I wont be able to download it again, right? Or is it possible via cloud, although deleted from appstore? Thanks
Again I'd respectfully disagree. If a monster gets a health buff that equates to an extra attack (or two given the nature of how bad the player misses) that you are taking from a monster. Every bit of damage taken adds up and counts, so while I agree that the damage towers may be paramount, I don't think that they are that much more so than the armor towers, health towers, etc. when I play, my goal is to mitigate as much damage to me so that I can get as far as possible. This comes as a balancing act of managing my mana use, my spells, the monsters and the towers and effects active on each level. I don't think anyone here is tapping away willy-nilly as you imply... I think it is just a matter of the game being very imbalanced to where the randomness of the difficulty has such a wide range from player to player that everyone's experience seems to be vastly different. Again, I point to the math in this game being very fuzzy and not tight. As for rarely having to clear all the monsters before getting the key; well that hasn't been my experience. In fact it's been quite the contrary for me where I will most times than not be down to the last monster or two if I am lucky before the key popping and more times than not I'll have killed all the monsters, get the chest and still have blocks to uncover in a level. Perhaps you are just uncannily lucky. Some folks are (seriously, I've met people like this that are strangely lucky). I am not.
When the text reads "set ------- free" it means clear that particular dungeon, not unlock the dungeon. Same goes to the person asking why the Merc wasn't available when they had unlocked Bayrock. To set something free means to clear it, it doesn't mean to enter or unlock it. There's nothing to fix IMHO, your expectations exceeded what it was telling you.
I'd like to echo the frustrations of other users regarding the repair material drop rate vs. the rate of item breakage. I'm trying to grind now to repair everything, but I'm getting one ore in a dungeon run and emerging with another broken item. That's no fun.
Or you're wrong or my game got bugged as we'll I have been playing with the mercenary since the release just after unlocking bayrock
The mage with the second skill (10% chance to reset cooldown on kill), fortification, & freeze is a brilliant thing (or substitute heal for freeze if you wish). I actually get several floors farther with him than with the mercenary evasion glitch.
I imagine there is quite a bit of work to do to get this game polished up and back into the App Store but I'm just wondering if you have some kind of an ETA for it.
What I am not seeing, and maybe I am just missing it, is an incentive to clear the floor if all monsters after you find the key. The question was there in the first version but as of now I kill, get the key, then clear as many blocks as I can to see if there is any treasure worth taking or monsters hiding a chest.
I agree the game should award you with more than 3-10 gold to clear a floor. Also the mercs evasion skill is definitely heavily glitched right now. Managed to clear all 3 keys of the fourth dungeon without temp item buffs and only used 1 rune that i found in the dungeon itself on first try... No way thats +5% dodge. Feels like 95% dodge to me. (Although a mere 10% dodge would make the merc rather useless i think)
Trying to decide how I feel about being able to use runes to continue. Let me explain. I just had my best run ever, and I had found like 800 gold and two runes, and was up to the third boss, and it was a situation where if I hit him he would die and if I missed him he would counterattack and I would die. The latter happened, so I used a rune to refill my life. I felt like I had just cheated, ON THE OTHER HAND, one tap later he died and I I had unlocked a new item, a new dungeon, AND a new character. Soooo I don't feel so bad. So should I have used that rune or not?
