Has anyone who hasn't unlocked the second dungeon seen the "locked dungeon" image? Mine seems to have disappeared and I reinstalled the game with a fresh save and I see it now so is it normal to have the lock dungeon icon gone? Does anyone have it missing who hasn't unlocked it yet? I'm talking about on the main map screen btw. Thanks!
I was wondering the same thing yesterday night. Will check aging later, before i install the version from my Appstore.
I loved the first one and I've just spent about half an hour on this and so far so not sure..... The upgrade process seems complicated as does the Iap/rune system and at the moment I just don't seem to be able to make enough money to progress significantly. Also how on earth do I upgrade my attack attribute?? I haven't come across a single sword icon to upgrade from 1? I was all set to pay whatever was needed to remove whatever timer Iap there was but I'm not sure that's enough. It seems very much a freemium game so far. I'm going to persist for a bit but I'm not blown away.
So, in a few words: 1) Runes are more important that gold or ham? 2) If i'm going for an unlock, which one you suggest me so far? Thanks for your help guys!
Game Impressions So far, Dungelot 2 hasn't made a very good impression. From spelling errors, dubious grammar and incorrect spacing of letters to the lack of explanations and documentation, the game seems unfinished. The new classes seem nowhere near as characteristic or diverse (in both mechanics and presentation) as the old, and early playthroughs yield very little sense of progression. I'll try to give the game a few more goes, the presence of pre-release edition of a (for me) very hotly anticipated game on my device notwithstanding Is that seriously how it works? That's either a kind of big oversight, or a kind of dastardly way to get players to spend runes frivolously
Played for about an hour so far and bought the ham because I ran out of ham during the time I was playing. I like the game and all but like others have said it seems a bit too grindy. And why is there no coin doubler? I will by a doubler but I will not buy runes or coin packs. Seems like the dev took a pretty good game and decided that he needs to make money off of every aspect of it because he feels he sold himself short on the first game. Not really sure at this point if I'm too happy with spending the money on the ham as it doesn't take away from the fact that you don't get enough gold and runes seem almost required. I'll keep playing and hopefully be proven wrong but from reading all the posts I'm not so sure that will happen.
Love it! Never played the first but I'm seriously enjoying this. Will buy the golden meat to support ^.^
Not really liking the rate of getting upgrades. Even with the ham, you have to stop yourself from spending to focus on grinding to save up for slots, skills and upgrades. It hasn't quite felt fun so far at least for me. Plus the screen that nags you to spend runes on death is really annoying.
Been waiting for this one. its maintain the old gameplay and add more fresh element. defenitely worth my 4$. And a lot of replay value too
I had the first one. Enjoyed the graphics style better on that. Not really liking all the iap on this one. Sort of annoying. Also not a fan of graphical overhaul. Oh well! Glad others are enjoying it though
Am I missing something? I feel like I am making money way too slowly. Like, I am literally going to replay the first 5 levels of the dungeon forever, with one character with no real killing ability. Also, and more importantly, every level seems the same. What happened to randomly finding damage upgrades that last for the length of a run? The fun of the original was not knowing if a given run was going to be a high damage run or a high life run or a spell-heavy run. In this game, every run I've made so far felt exactly the same as the last. Which, btw, also makes the attack animations a source of frustration because it's so slooow. When I found out about the unlock IAP I figured I would buy it...now I'm thinking about reinstalling the original instead.
Ok couple of questions if anyone can help.... how do I get/buy equipment? All the equipment slots are locked out when I click the blacksmith icon and secondly how do I improve the attributes of my character? Ta
And if you spend a rune on a portal (like I did by ACCIDENT, awful interface design), does it seriously only last for one run?????
And I just found my first item (as least I thought I did...a lantern) but I don't see it in inventory?
