I think you add search terms invisibly when you submit the app, so the devs might have added certain words that had nothing to do with duke but would make it appear more often in searches. *cough* boobs *cough* nekkid women.

Funny you mention irrelevant search terms. I've been checking the App Store almost every day for "Doom Classic," and this is how I found out that Duke Nukem had fallen out of the store. I figured some irate parent had called in to complain about (a) the strippers, (b) pictoral depiction of Duke ripping off aliens head and $hitting down his neck, (c) spoken referral to said act. Of course the pervasive blood and gore is OK, and the playtested slider controls are "superior." In any case it's back up now, so there's no drama. No update, either. :-( At least we got to hear about it on Twitter, the same way the developers heard that it was pulled.
I am right with you about searching 'Doom Classic' every day.. hell, I did it a few times a day :/ But yeah, I'm sure Duke3D will get straightened out soon. I just hate the fact now we have to wait all over again for the update to get pushed through.
