Duke Nukem 3D for Iphone is real.

I'm not sure if they pulled the one this article was referring too, but either way there's parental controls now and that should open up more doors for mature content.

 

Apple didn't pull it, the devs servers got overloaded and he pulled it himself.

 

"Apple has apparently changed its mind about allowing applications with explicit content in the iPhone App Store. After approving earlier today the first app featuring photos of nude women, Apple has now removed "Hottest Girls" from the App Store."

"A website allegedly run by Hottest Girls app developers explained the disappearance:

The Hottest Girls app is temporarily sold out. The server usage is extremely high because of the popularity of this app. Thus, by not distributing the app, we can prevent our servers from crashing. Those who already have the app will still be able to use our app. To answer the question on everyone’s mind: Yes, the topless images will still be there when it is sold again.

By Thursday afternoon, Apple’s public relations team felt the need to weigh in. From Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr:

Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography. The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content. This was a direct violation of the terms of the iPhone Developer Program. The application is no longer available on the App Store."

the app doesnt work anymore. it just shows a black screen when you try to go into the app.

 

I'm looking forward to Duke Nukem. I hope it will have the co-op mode.

Nope, I can't even find a website, blog, twitter, anything for this game.

 

Someone help me understand the controls. Can you not move forward and strafe at the same time? Do I have to physically move my thumb from one control to another to look up/down and look left/right? I don't get it.

 

I dont know it would be sweet with a different control system. In prey even when moddified to be like a reg non tap FPS is still was a bad scheme(analog) and i couldnt even have my brain work out how someone without four damned thumbs can work the digital controls. Tap to shoot = tap to ew

I expect to see A LOT MORE of these types of ports. Don't think it's all that surprising, should be fun though.
