Finesse For those who don't know, all the finesse leaderboards are based on all of your touches added up. like total finesse is all touches for all A-side levels. Revolutions finesse is just adding up your touches for the 3 revolutions levels. redo a level with fewer touches and you'll move up on the leaderboards. finesse isn't documented inside the game, but i think it's a lot of fun to work on. i recommend it. on a related note, if anyone could tell me which A-side levels you can do better than perfect on, to improve your finesse, that'd be a big help for me. it turns out some levels you can actually do less touches than what it calls perfect. the ones i found so far are bargaining VI and hope III, i need to find more to move up the leaderboard. i'm also stuck on bargaining IV trying to perfect it. can anyone tell me the trick to getting it perfect? i'm one touch off.
Fix the game Hello, i have Duet on my ipad1 5.1.1. i really love this game. Anyway, when i upgraded the game to 1.2.0 the game just crashed at the first scene. I restarted and respringed, but the game didn't work. So you can fix this for me? If you can, thank you very much.
Finesse Hi guys. Looking to improve your finesse score and move up the leaderboard? I am tied for #1 on the total finesse leaderboard and I've just blogged all my notes, revealing every level where I saved touches! http://www.curi.us/1613-duet-ios-finesse
Why? So you can pick it up for cheap? The price went down a while ago (March maybe, don't remember), so it shouldn't go down again (at least before a while, if it does). But, this game is a steal at that price, especially with the contents added.
Just letting you guys know we rolled out an update today to fix a few bugs in Duet. Unfortunately with our last update we accidentally broke support for 1st generation iPads and any devices running iOS 5 in general. This should now be fixed. Additionally there was a slight change in collision detection that crept into the last build, this is fixed too. Lastly the leaderboards for Quickening were thrown off a bit due to a bug. There are now two leaderboards for Quickening as we can't delete the old leaderboard in Game Center Sorry to everyone that was affected by the bugs, especially the iPad 1 owners!
We actually did add an 'invert' option in the settings in a previous update. Just go back to the title screen of the app and press the 'settings' button, then there should be an option called "invert" that you can toggle.
Thank you so much for fixing it Mr Kumobius! Whenever games stop working on my iPad 1 these days, I figure the devs just stopped supporting it. I really appreciate that you still do!
No problem Lena. We're sorry we didn't test the game on our office's iPad 1 before uploading the 1.2.0 version to Apple. We really had no intention of dropping iPad 1 support. If you have time to write a review on the App Store for this latest version of the game it'd be really appreciated. Version 1.2.0 had a big feature with Apple when it was released meaning we accumulated a lot of great reviews for that version and we had to sacrifice all those reviews to release 1.2.1 to fix this iPad 1 bug. But we knew it was the right thing to do. I realise users can see "All Versions" reviews for an app, but the default on the App Store is to show the "Latest Version". Duet is actually our highest rated game so far on the App Store, its average rating is around 4.85 which is phenomenal. So, thanks again guys!
OK, thanks for explaining and taking care of it. I just read a little about this. I learned that this sleeper spammer had made a so called "parrot post" based on my original post. I'm honoured Well, too much attention already. Let's keep this thread on topic
Almost finish this game! But my hands cannot hold the iPad anymore have to... stop, played too... much...
