Pretty much exists on every platform at this point and is super welcome on iOS. Look, I love Huntdown, Unruly Heroes, Bike Baron 2 and all these other games, but it’s SO refreshing to play a game that just wants you to play it. No 3 star system, no “Beat this level without losing”, nothing….just a casual mode, hard mode, 100 tiny levels that’ll have you pulling your hair out and a really, really cool implementation of a dash mechanic. $0.99, entirely premium in 2021? You’d be crazy not to check this out. mattll, Lull4by and Anotherkellydown like this. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #3 psj3809, Jun 30, 2021 Love platformers, and just bought this. Even though it does get frustrating (especially halfway through the game), checkpoints are aplenty. I think the way it's implemented right now (swiping) makes more sense to me than, say, having a separate dash button and using the directional pad. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #7 metalcasket, Jun 30, 2021 Finished. Oh man, perfect $1 experience and the…thing…you get at the end of the game was so worth it. Heartwarming! EDIT for clarification: Finished on casual. I like my sanity. If you want to play the whole thing on hard, you do you! squarezero likes this. broopa Well-Known Member Jul 2, 2009 49 6 8 #8 broopa, Jul 1, 2021 Looks like price jumped up to $1.99 in the US. I posted this elsewhere, but there’s an ever so slight delay to the movement. I.e. to move, you have to place your finger on the screen, then slide it in a direction, and only the slide triggers movement/dashing. Sounds a bit nitpicky, but it’s a noticeable delay compared to just touching a spot on the screen virtual-joystick style. Especially later on, when you’re expected to do a frantic series of dashes in multiple directions, I really felt the delay. It’s almost like you have to start the movement before you need to, so that the character responds in time. All that said, @metalcasket had no trouble with the controls.
