Just created a forum (in a rush)http://dubdash.freeforums.net/ Don't think it'll be very useful since DD's community is really small for now, but when it'll grow it may be helpful. Anyways
K Incodra, hope this works! I made a 1 second video linking to the forum! Also I have a cool idea (hopefully)
Release date for Steam + Android: February 16th Here we are! Sorry to let you wait. We have announced the release data of Dub Dash on Steam and Android for the end of January. Then we have posted that the release will be February 4th and now it is February 16th. It is definitely not our fault! We had to do this last change due to the announced sale period on Steam which will start on Feb 4th...damn! There all the AAA titles will probably take part and we are too small to compete. Therefore we were forced to move the release date of Dub Dash to be after this sale period to the mid of February. We hope that we won't be forced to change the release date again. Sorry for the inconvenience! Damn again! I exchange I'll give you some more insights on these two upcoming versions: - On Android Dub Dash will be Free-To-Play. There will be a "remove Ads" options for $1,99. By this we hope to satisfy both worlds: "Free-To-Play" gamers as well as the Premium gamers. - On Steam the price will be $4,99, but(!) the release / launch price will be $2,99! And Steam gets a multiplayer mode where up to 4 players can compete on one screen. Multiplayer is extremely enjoyable! - In both versions all tracks (except the first one) are locked and you are unlocking these tracks by finishing the previous ones, step by step. - In both versions we have added Challenges. These are random worlds with music chosen randomly from one of the unlocked levels. For now, only the main Jump mechanic (and later when "Midnight Sun" is unlocked also jump pads) is used. - For finishing a challenge you can earn lives. These lives can be used for recovers on the original tracks. By this we hope to make Dub Dash a bit easier. This is a great thing to use for practice and hardcore gamer (like me ) will stilly want to play through without using any of the lives anyway. But we want to make Dub Dash less frustrating and more enjoyable for all. Also when using these lives Dub Dash remains the ultimate challenge! And playing challenges is also extremely enjoyable since it is random! You never know what comes next, but it always remains in sync with the music. To be honest only jumping is quite easy for good gamers, but random jumps pads are really challenging! Enough information... for now. Only four weeks to go...
Also, I can imagine Incongra [ Sorry if spelt wrong ] using these songs in a Dub Dash level. http://youtu.be/DBu1__I_2pY [ Skip to 1:14 ] http://youtu.be/WwoCsaJ5w4A http://youtu.be/guBpnPY32s0 [ Skip to 0:31 ] http://youtu.be/gmSGmgffLXI [ Skip to 1:46 ] I think Xtrullor's and Mafiapineapple's songs will be perfect for harder levels and EnV's and DjStriden's songs are perfect for easier levels. One last thing, how is DubDash going other than the release date and update Incongra?
Der Erste Steam Sale verschiebts also... *Ruft Gabe Newell an und versucht ihn zu überreden* Nun ratet wer es sich evtl nach dem er sich den Undertale Soundtrack direkt am 16. Holt^^

Thanks for these suggestions. We get so many... really many suggestions for new songs / tracks. We'll review them and as soon as new tracks are to be created we'll decide what to do. Regarding the performance... well... not that good... we have to see what happens after Android / Stea releases. The word is not spreading as expected. The feedback of the players is overwhelmingly positive, but unfortunately there are not so many players, yet.
No problem. And thanks for checking out the tracks. Oh. Well I hope it spreads faster so it can get popular. And so a level editor gets added.
We also hope the same. Any support we get is appreciated. And yeah, a level editor would be really fun.
Level Editor FTW. BTW, are the Levels gonna be rated automatically after difficulty or how you planned it if there would be a Editor soon?
