how long is this game? i would like to buy it but is it only about a couple of hours long? the TA review states "for several hours on the couch" but i wanted to get the forum members' opinion
Thanks a lot for your support everyone! It was a really nice surprise to see the review on the front page today and that a lot of you voted Drylands for the forums' game of the week! You guys are amazing! All of that encourages us to keep going despite all the mishaps we had. Cheers!
Congratulations for the Great TA review Hope it will boost the sales number Thanks for making this great title #
Took me 8 hours without exploring for too long, exploiting some already fixed weapon bug + I've skipped one of the hard side quest bosses,so yep - it totally worth 3$.
Airplay Mirroring - Stuck in Portrait Hi, This game doesn't seem to mirror correctly via Airplay - Airplay thinks it's stuck in portrait mode and never switches to landscape. Anyone else try this and experience something similar? I realize this is a bit of a niche use case, but would be nice to play this up on a bigger screen. Right now I've got a crick in my neck from trying Airplay mirroring. Thanks!
I noticed that when I tried to access the Notification Center or the control center it seemed to still be in portrait mode. I didn't really think about the consequences of that though. I feel like pointing it out to Angry Bugs will get it resolved in a future update. I'm just not sure how much it would take to fix it. But this has been a problem in the old and new versions.
I would so love to be won over by this game. I love rpg's, I love platformers and I love pixel art and retro games. I'm a huge fan of Post-Apocalyptic games & films. But I just can't get my head round the graphical style. It just looks poorly done to my eyes. There's no reason why a post-apocalyptic game should be so grey and drab - think of borderlands, or bioshock, or even fallout - they all have rich and diverse environments despite the apocalyptic / dystopian theme. And the animation and rather awkward art style just don't sit easily with me. Which is a huge shame as this sort of game could have been gorgeous to look at as well as fun to play. Perhaps I'm being unfair, or missing something - I'd love to be persuaded that I'm wrong!
Yeah ikr,I missed rich,non-grey environments too but it is only 3$ so and let's be honest, the only actually rich environment in fallout 3 is the Oasis and the rest is pure wasteland. Fallout new Vegas got it right though - it has everything from lush green locations to sandstorm deserts.
I'm completely digging this game. Great art style. Reminds me of the nes days. How do you keep track of the passwords. Can't get back in some areas
Great game ! Wish there was some way to customize you're charachters look before you start the game otherwise it's fantastic.
Is it possible to put down stuff which im carrying on my back for a side mission or so, manually on the floor again?
