I like your game. But it is really hard. And it's truely frustrating right now. Im stuck right at the beginning. I have found some explosive barrel in the three towers level. With this on my back, im no longer able to take a shield, cause im overburden. Can't put the barrel down or change anything. Dying is routine now and the gaming fun is very low. The mission description tells me not where to put this explosive. I have searched every level and found not one place to use this. Dear dev. Please work on the mission descriptions. It sucks when you don't even know which level you need to pick to search for something.
I think the quest you say is I'M THE STASHMAN, when you talk to him, he asks you to help him get out of there, you search for the barrel, once you have the barrel, go again and talk to him, the tasks in the quest are FIND EXPLOSIVE BARREL and PUT BARREL AT STASH AND SHOOT IT. Go again and talk to him, the barrel automatically will be put in the stash, take some steps back and shoot it a couple of times. Let me know if this helps.
Really enjoying this game. It's like the perfect storm of things I like: no IAP, apocalyptic story, intuitive controls, action/exploration. Nice job, Dev! Hope it gets the success it deserves.
I'm really enjoying the update! I've already put more time into this than almost any other iOS game. MFi support would be nice, but I'm enjoying it a ton regardless!
In near wasteland I've got the 3 parts but the final part of the mission is 'Go down to the lab to meet the scientist' Can't seem to find him anywhere ?
Can someone talk about the new shield / cover mechanics? Ive been on the fence about this game since day one and that might push me over.
There are basically shields lying inside of the buildings, you can pick them, they protect you from gun shots, melee attacks and they CAN be destroyed. There are also certain covers inside of the buildings, enemies and you can hide behind of them, they will protect you and your enemy from gun shots but not melee attacks.
Heard the update was out, but unfortunately I'm still on iOS 7.0 so I can't buy it. Hope all the best for this one though! Looks cool.
can anyone post a good video review of this game? I kinda want it but what im not sure is on how the loot works is it like borderlands? How long it is etc.
Game was about 8-9 hours long for me and I was not even exploring that much and have not even killed one of the final side-quest bosses. Yep,the loot is pretty much like in borderlands, the best thing is that handguns, shotguns and other weapons can have different fire rates too,not just dmg.
Sadly, I find it difficult to enjoy this game. The movement seems laggy for me. But seeing no one else have this problem, maybe it's my device, ipad4. Anyway, the character movement looks like it's gliding? But I guess it not the design elements of the game but rather my own preferences that makes me yet to have a strong liking to the game. But good to see many people enjoying this though
This is an incredible effort by an incredible team. I applaud the developer for the price-point, the lack of IAP, the quality of the game, etc. They're all good. However, the game itself just didn't click for me. I may have another go in a few weeks. That's just down to personal preference and that's a shame but on the other hand I really don't regret spending the money on it. The game is definitely WORTH this money and it is EXACTLY the kind of model I want to see more of on the AppStore. If my couple of quid encourages more of this type of game model (good quality, premium, no ads, no IAP) in any way, then it's two quid well spent.
I love platform games on iOS, so at first to me this was a nice jumping run/gun type game. Then with all the missions you get and the story behind it, the choice later on of taking missions in the order you want, i must admit it really clicked with me They could have done it where theres 20 levels, you do each one in order and you get up to 3 stars or something (eg the usual). But i love the way the game builds up, more locations appear on the map, several missions at once, small sub-missions, the main missions etc If League of Evil or something similar was done like this (eg not a linear way) it would be great. Some levels are tricky as anything and you need better weapons. But again the small details of 'copying files' from the PC or reading the emails on the PC, really do like it. For the money its amazing, i've had a lot of gameplay with it and i still have loads of missions to do.
