so you're telling me that i've just bought a no more supported game and that i'll never see the new (and future) features??? it's just been re-released
Thanks, it's a real pity. On a technical side, why does it work on the iPad2 but not on the 4S? I thought the iPad2 had lower specs than the 4S.
As a beta tester, I can't believe how far this game has gone since 1st beta testing. WOW! My favorite part is the overall look and atmosphere of the game. Congrats dev on a fantastic game!
Took a spin last night on the game. The game indeed have change much. And it's all the good changes of cuz. Was in the beta test back then. The current final release just felt way more polished. And still deliver what the dev originally trying to build onto the game. It's great and I am totally enjoying it. One thing thou, I wonder if it's possible to ton down that scan line effect on the dialog box. Not sure about others but I feel that it is hard to read at times.
Ok if you are on iOS 7 or anything under an iPhone 5 there is a problem. Cell companies are giving away iphone 5 for nothing. Having the devs support this is like asking if i can use a 3 1/4 disk on my macpro
Yeah i'm the same, reminds me of an old classic DOS game. I'm really enjoying it, did get quite far with the previous version but i'm starting again at the moment. A lot of content so far, a great game
it works on 4S, but only if you've grabbed the 1.2.0 version on wednesday night and have the ipa on PC/Mac to reinstall it, as i did... the problem are the new 1.4.0 features (and eventually next ones), i'll never see them!
I did.....I like xolan a lot better. They are totally different games though. I like the action and pace of xolan but that's just me. In all honesty I haven't spent as much time with drylands yet though.
I've got both. Xolan is a great traditional action platformer. This ones great as its at times a bit more slow based with different missions, the main story builds up, bit more 'RPG-ish' as you accept different missions. Go to different levels then back to your main base etc. Some of the levels later are on are quite large buildings or mazes. On the map there seems to be room for more names (levels) so i'm looking forward to seeing some of this later on.
Great stuff, let us know what you think about it. The first few missions are short/easy but then it starts to really open up with some large levels. I like some of the little detail, eg when you're hacking into a computer and its downloading files.
I also have both games. (As well as a hundred or so others in the same genre or categories. Yikes... I can't stop! LOL) I completely agree with what psj3809 wrote here. To me, Xolan & Drylands are very different from each other, except that they both have weapons for getting the bad guy. LOL So... I say... Both games are reasonably priced, so get them both.
Well, thanks a lot for your support, it seems the game is appealing for the majority, so that make us happy About the map... some locations only appear when you complete a particular quest line and you can find more npcs for quests and hidden places. Thanks again for playing, hope the game keeps getting discovered by more people.
Depends on what you think of the game when you play it. I suppose the arena gives it a little. Other than that, it's up to you and how often you actually replay apps.
