Ish Shootings quite basic. Just left or right. You can jump as well The variety of missions is good. You can jump to different locations as well. Some are underground. Some are like a huge building It's very retro but a fair bit to do. I really like it
I will be buying this after seeing what the developer had to say and what happened. Plus it looks to be a really fun game and I'm a sucker for a good platforming game! How is the replayability? Can you start the game over keeping all your things or do you start off fresh? Billy
I keep checking the thread to see if it's been re released. Hope the Dev realises that there are people rooting for them despite the problems they've had.
I'm wondering if there's an endless mode. Like horde battles after the end of the game. If there's other stuff to do. Also replay ability
Near the end of the game you get access to arena battles where you have to survive about 2 minutes in an arena while trying to accomplish a specific goal. There isn't much reason to replay the game, i think. I don't remember any branching paths or missable quests. However there is decent endgame content to just keep on playing as long as you enjoy the mechanical side of the game.
The main mission/storyline seems very long. Well worth the few dollars. Once I complete a game I normally delete it but so far I've played it a lot. Well worth the tiny price
Still not fixed WTF not happy .... cannot get past first scene with text locks up and doesn't progress. When are you guys going to get this fixed? I have had patience but it should of been updated by now
Ugh. Here we go again. This is not going to be a simple fix. http://venturebeat.com/2015/04/27/apple-doesnt-care-why-one-longtime-indie-role-playing-game-maker-has-left-ios/ Vogel: For iOS 8, the current version, Apple made huge changes in how programs make a window and register events touches, rotated devices, etc. I developed the game and tested it on iOS 8.2. Everything was fine with the older system. I submitted the game, and it passed testing and was ready for release.
Still think its crazy to upgrade to 8.3 so soon when it comes out. Wait a while to hear of games not working with it or other issues. Been playing Drylands a lot (8.2), really enjoying it. Shame about all of these of course as it doesnt help the devs sadly
Hi again everyone, here's an update on the status of the game. As you all know, the release started with the wrong foot, but there is a positive side of it, it's the great feedback received and how the combat system felt shallow for some, comparing it with the rest of the features. So for your support and patience we decided to add a little more variety in that department: First we added a knife, you can melee enemies when they are close by and a perk to add elemental damage and effects to it. To spice things up, now you can cover behind some destructible objects, getting the upper hand dealing with armed raiders; but be aware, they can also run behind cover (and by run, I mean they can RUN now). You will also find some useful objects to grab and use to your advantage, cover shields. They'll protect your front while you shoot your foes, they will break but will protect you for a while. Another perk is a special move, you can charge against your enemies with the knife with double tap, and if you upgrade it, you can charge when using a cover shield, smashing it against your foes, dealing great damage. You can see some of it here: By the way, it looks like the screen and control issues are all fixed now!, we will invite you for another testflight beta really soon to try it on every device and make sure they are gone for good. Finally the last good news!... at last, our problem with our developer account has been fixed!, now we can generate promo codes for our games and send them to everyone. Thanks for everything!, I'll keep you posted.
Wow. This could actually bring me back to the game, as the rigidity and lack of tactical variety in combat was the ONLY thing I did not care for in this otherwise unique and highly polished game. Thanks for this uncommon display of developer attention and flexibility! Evidently, Angry Bugs, the connotations of the name notwithstanding , is a developer worth our investment.
good to hear rhat !! so any time of the release? looking forward so much to this whole new version !!
