I'm working on adding Game Center to DropZap. The idea is to have two modes depending on whether or not the player is authenticated to Game Center * if not authenticated, the UI looks like it did before with respect to global leaderboards * if authenticated, you get the Game Center UI for leaderboards instead (without access to the original leaderboards) * when submitting a score globally, it would be posted only to the original leaderboard(s) or to Game Center (not both) depending on whether the player is authenticated to Game Center Is this a reasonable approach? Also, what sorts of achievements would you like to see in DropZap?
I think shutting out the original leaderboard in favor of just the GameCenter one is a little silly. People like me that can't make decisions will end up not wanting to get high scores, to avoid needing to make said decision. I think you need to find a way to submit scores to GameCenter and the original Leaderboards. But that's just me.
