    This is an extremely popular and useful Mac program, so I'm glad to see a companion app for the iPhone.

    App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

    Ok lets compare:

    MobileMe - $99/year

    DropBox - Free

    Tough choice.

    MobileMe = $8.25/mo for 20GB + calendar + contacts + email + web hosting
    Dropbox = $9.99/mo for 50GB

    I use a combination of MobileMe and Mediafire (free unlimited storage for file sharing) which works for me.

    I have heard great things about the Dropbox syncing though that is probably worth the extra cost if you have more than one machine for which you want to easily share files between. I wouldn't pay for it since I am tied to MobileMe until Jan 2010.

    Edit: @Zin, 2GB for people that have a lot of media isn't a lot of storage space these days.

    If people with that much media need it all stored online they're doing something wrong.

    Have used Dropbox client for both Mac and PC extensively for at least a year, so I'm really looking forward to using this.

    Which I will do, once I gather enough courage to upgrade to 3.1 :p

    Yep I still haven't upgraded to 3.1 since it disables tethering on unofficial carriers, at least in Italy. This is quite absurd since all iPhones in Italy are sold unlocked, you just can buy it with one of the two official carriers and a special contract, or pay a bit more for the phone and use it with the carrier you prefer (which I did).

    I'm very fond of the dropbox service though, so it's a hard choice.

    and DropBox would be better if they were the same price. Faster, more reliable, and works seamlessly with Windows and Linux as well as Mac.
