Wow, after a day of straight play, having the cash doubler is pretty essential. I think of it as for $5, you get a premium experience. The side missions leave plenty to do, and just the payout from destroying vehicles and tanks, and killing infantry can add up to $40k easily. I've gotten quite a few of the weapons (Equilizer, Hellfire missiles, and upgraded cyclops missiles is what I'm running, and pretty much running the show), and been able to upgrade them to 2nd to last upgrade....the final one is payed for with gold (premium, harder to come by currency). I'd highly recommend forking over $5 and giving this game a fair run. You will not be disappointed!
I finally just unlocked the Hydra Rockets went into the next mission but they wouldn't fire. What do I have to do to get them to fire I'm sure I am missing something so simple that I'll kick myself when I find the problem.
Can anyone confirm if this can be played offline? I was waiting until they updated this to pick it back up so now might be a good time.. maybe..
Hi Lawliet, Yes you can play offline. We want you to have uninterrupted action. Enjoy playing the game..!! Thank You
You need to tap on the targets (Eg. Vehicles/infantries on ground) and then tap on Fire button. You can target multiple targets (i.e. 4) at a time. Here's how to do it: 1. Select HYDRA Rockets from Hangar section 2. Select any mission and tap on Start mission button. 3. While in action phase Tap on Hydra Rocket button and then select targets(i.e vehicles and infantries moving on ground by just tapping on them) 4. Once targets are locked (i.e. You will see the white square symbol on them). 5. Tap on Red Fire button at Left bottom corner of the screen. #ShadowStrike
Whenever anti-infantry fires a missile to destroy the drone, you can simply tap on the incoming missile and it will get destroyed and flare will be consumed (but if you dont have enough flares then it will hit your drone and decrease armor health) NOTE: Any incoming missile will be circled in red and you will hear an 'Incoming Missile' warning call as soon as missile is triggered. To defend directly tap the incoming missile to deploy flares. Here's how to do it: 1. Select any mission and tap on Start mission button. 2. While in action phase When any anti-infantry fires a missile at your drone. 3. Tap on the incoming missile and it will vanish 4. If you want to increase the flare capacity you can buy more flares from Enhancements section under Hangar(as initially you get two flares and once you finish using them --- it takes some time for regeneration and for that amount of time if incoming missile comes you wont be able to destroy it and drones armor will get affected). #ShadowStrike
Shadow Strike has facebook sync to save the progression. Progression can be saved by logging to your Facebook account from within the game. Follow the steps to sync/save progress: 1. In the Main Menu Select Settings 2. Tap on Facebook icon. 3. Enter valid Facebook username and password 4. Once connected tap on the Facebook icon again and select 'Load'. 5. The progression data will be synced on the server and game will refresh once. Once logged in, before closing the game/discontinuing, on regular basis whenever necessary, tap on load to push the respective progress to the server. (We do not share to Facebook wall without players permission) Note: Logout from Facebook gives a fresh start for a game, but nothing to worry, the progression synced with the Facebook account is safe on our servers.
Thanks for the replies ShadowStrike. I may put some money into your game after all. I had two things I wanted to mention. First is if you guys are actually making more areas? I love how each mission has 15 objectives (takes a lot of time to beat!), however if someone were to play all the levels straight, it could probably be beaten in a few days. I hope there are plans for more! And I have a glitch where no matter if I'm online or offline, every time I start the app it says there's a connection error. I just hit okay and it'll still let me play but it happens everytime. I have my phone on airplane mode whether my wifi is on or not so maybe that could be a factor? Thanks!
Loving this. Advice to players: buy the Hellfire missile ASAP. Then, use what gold the game has given you (or that you've bought, I won't judge) to upgrade its capacity to max. Saved me a lot of headaches.
I've been saving up for the Bomber UAV (seems most well rounded and "easiest" to save for). I just bought it but now I don't have anything.. All the weapons still cost a lot of money and the bomber didn't come with any weapons sadly. I'm still using the the starter guns 5 hours in :\ Been stuck in the 2nd area since i can't kill enemies fast enough to save my allies. Hellfire I'll aim for after I buy a bomb. I think it's a good idea to get Hellfire just because tanks have the highest armor so far and they're such a pain.
Agreed on the 2 previous posts, Hellfire missiles are key to victory, especially with tank missions. Upgrade the damage as quickly as u can, and you'll be able to take tanks down in 2 shots. I spent some in-game currency to get 4 rockets. That with the cyclone missiles, and you'll be grinning ear to ear in no time Still going to get the Zuni lau-10 rockets when I can, but cyclones with full damage will take tanks down in 4 shots. U can go back and forth between missiles and rockets and just watch the map light up like a Christmas tree.
@ Shadowstrike - is there any possible future update to do iCloud saves? I'd hate to think of something bad happening and losing all my progress just because I don't use Facebook..
I'm in zone 3 right now, running HEL, Whirlwind, and Cyclone. Good God the HEL is amazing. Just melts everything short of tanks. Still loving the game.
Just got to zone 3 after much grinding (the last mission on zone 2 was hard as heck because allies died so quick). I have an amazing set up. I bought best Missiles, Maverick. It one shots almost every tank. Insane. Then I also bought the homing cyclops rockets which are the best rockets. They're probably the best weapons in my arsenal. You can lock in an enemy for heavy damage then move to the next without guiding it. I also have to hughes cannons which are the strongest and slowest but they hit everything hard. Feels like a good trade off. Finally I have the Scalpel bomb which is okay since the damage is great but it has a wide radius (I also love the sound effect when it drops).
I've just got the Global Hawk, running the HEL, (things really get toasty) fully upgraded Hellfires & Rockeye, and Cyclops with max damage, with auto loader and hi-ex, they all make quite a mess. Anyone dropped a Nuke yet?
Grinding works best on the survival missions, the easier the better. I'm on level 11 and average ~100k on the survival mission in the second area. I'm running an avenger with HEL, hellfire and Mavericks.
Was finally able to grind and get the X47B. This, with either HEL or Equilizer (actually prefer Equilizer....like butta'!), and the 4 slots....pure awesome. Cyclone, Zuni, Hellfire = "what did I just see on screen?"
In the last area, rocking Equalizer, Maverick, Paveway, and Zuni on a Global Hawk. Damn but that last mission is good for grinding. Got almost $700K off it one time. The game crashed, but I still got the money.
Everybody seems to be really enjoying this game... I'm surprised its not flying (no pun intended) high in the charts. Where are the reviews? It boogles my tiny mind that F2P energy / IAPfests like Kill Shot still seem to dominate...
