Well, downloaded, installed, player the tutorial, deleted the game. Sums it up for me, not very good and the graphics aren't anything special either. I would stick to Riptide GP.

I've been giving it a go this afternoon and I think the actual racing elements are really very good - and on the air2 it looks excellent. Reminds me very much of an old saga arcade game whose name I forget.

Unfortunately it's all buried so deep within a mass of attempts to get me to spend money at every turn that I'm not interested in seeing how much more it has to offer.

For those who don't know:you already supported UBI with the pure download (even without buying any IAP) and i suggest to others:don't even download it to REALLY show the publisher where they can stick those timer ridden crap. This counts for other games as well, obviously.I admit there are fair f2p mechanics out there but timers are coming right out of the gaming hell. They fit SO good especially in racing games, don't they?Must be VERY tempting for every publisher (i say publisher and not developer cause they pay for the development, they make the rules).

Based on the first few levels, it seems like Ubisoft looked at Riptide and said "Here's an idea: let's make that, but spend way more money on it and make it about 30 times worse in every aspect. And then free."

    Maybe it gets better?

I was so expecting this to be the next Riptide GP, but half way through the tutorial, I really can't stand almost everything with what I saw. The so called "realistic water" couldn't match what even the FIRST riptide did. The graphics are stuck in 2012, in line with what you expectedin Asphalt 7 probably. And I have A sticking point to the frame rate as well. I truly believe that any racing games in this day and age should run on 60FPS at least to make the action smooth and believable. Together with the slow boat movements, it feels more like driving a bad tank than a speedboat.

I am not even going to bother to mention the timers. But I just did so there.

Riptide is way better in my opinion. The graphics are better, the gameplay is better and of course it's premiuim. No reason to choose this instead.
