Wow...your texture artist(s) are doing an incredible job! Such detailed, clean textures! Very impressive.
Fun physics From the looks of the video you're at a nice halfway point between air and space physics. Some space games are just sooooo confusing to control! Looks like you can slide sideways but not to the point of just doing a 180 while still going backwards, am I right?
Momentum is conserved so you can actually thrust then turn around and keep going in the same direction despite facing the opposite direction. I think the key is that the flight dynamics are balanced in such a way that it lets you do this without it becoming confusing or ridiculous. Or at least I hope they are anyway
It's quite thrilling to see you posting here! I bought the beta a long time ago, and every couple of months I'll look to see if it's finished... like others have said, just know that for many of us this is a "Dream game" to play, and you've got our support 200%... afterburners and all
That's really awesome. I don't like the driving through a snowstorm effect for movement though. It looks fantastic overall though.
Thanks for the kind words and support. It's appreciated Thanks! FWIW I've made the "space dust" effect a bit less pronounced recently.

Screens look amazing Any more videos on how it looks now? Keep up the good wirk and hooe to see this beauty in 2015
I took some time to make sure the game still builds and runs on iOS today, and yes, yes it does https://twitter.com/celsiusgs/status/565579116213452800
Lovely to see this running on iPad. Would be interested to know whether this will run on iPad Mini and/or iPhone 6/6+. As much as I love my Mini 1, looking to consolidate to a 6+ but if Drifter won't be universal, I'll probably just get a 6 and upgrade the Mini.
I should have been more clear but it's my iPad Mini in the Vine Drifter will be universal but right now it runs "out of the box" on the larger screen of the Mini or a regular iPad. It will require some work to adjust the UI for the iPhone.
Met with TouchArcade at GDC yesterday to give them a hands-on with the game to show that we're still dedicated to releasing the game on iOS once we hit 1.0 http://toucharcade.com/2015/03/03/gdc-2015-drifter/
