I love the look. So clean and polished, like the 80s sci fi: V's motherships, etc. The more I see, the more I want this baaaaad
Any outlook for a release date beyond "when it's ready"? Is there a target date? Just, the sooner CGS releases it, the sooner they can take my money!
Revive Time! It's time ladies and gentlemen.....to...learn about space and DRIFTER I guess. Whatever but seriously you people need to check this game out, it's freaking awesome. REVIVE TIME!!
Thanks! I didn't feel it was appropriate to pimp our Steam release on an iOS gaming site which is why I didn't say anything about it here That said, development charges ever forward and iOS is still happening, I just wish that they had something like Early Access on the App Store so you didn't have to wait any longer
I remember beta testing a game on my iPhone. I had to create a certificate using my IUID (or something like that, I can't remember well) and then I was sent an IPA beta build which I installed on my phone and played the beta. That would give early access Agree, still waiting. Keeping a low profile on the thread, but still checking it and subscribed to it
The renders of the ships and environments looks amazing!! Definitely will be following this game, keep up the great work!
This is currently (and for some time) the only iOS game I am waiting for. Any update from CGS's Glorious Leader? Hopefully, the PC version is picking up some momentum on Steam Greenlight but the mobile version is the one I'm really looking forward to. I wish I'd spotted the Kickstarter before it closed. The lack of updates is killing me
Glad to hear you're excited We're working away on version 0.6.0 on desktop and as always I am keeping the iOS build up to date. In fact I recently got an iPhone 5s and I'm happy to report that (probably unsurprisingly) the game runs at a solid 60fps there even without any serious optimizations. While certain areas of the game are still incomplete, things are falling into place nicely!
By the time Drifter comes out for iOS, my old iPhone4S will have died and I'll have moved onto Android... :-/ I'll have to buy it for my iPad
This game has drifted into another dimension for me. I recognize the title and even understand it's supposedly real - but it feels and looks too good to be true. A mans gotta dream and all that. But I'd understand if tomorrow someone told me it was just a figment of my imagination.
PS.. If this game does turn out to be real, It would be "pinch me immediately" material if it was also released on PS Vita... That's all.
