FYI, Namco just released a drift game that looks similar to this called Drift Spirits. I just downloaded it. Haven't fired it up yet.
I've decided to quit the game. I don't like being stuck at games like that. And I don't feel like investing so much time in getting a 1* car to 5*.
Thanks for sharing! I decided to download it. My avatar is called DarkMao. I'm surprised at how similar it is to drift girls but likely missing the dating sim. It surprises me the most since namco is such a large developer vs drift girls which seems to be as smaller developer. The concept, gameplay, daily bonus etc... All the same/similar... Interesting!
Drift Spirit is pretty interesting and provides a bit more instruction. It is eerily similar as drift girls but with real cars. Worth a try!
Totally agree. It's actually not too bad. They all kind of remind me a little of the drift mode in the Fast & Furious games, but each has its own flavor.
Drift Spirits is actually pretty cool so far. Am digging it, honestly wish it had the big breasted babes this has. And ya, there's a lot of depth to my shallowness.
Well the real draw for me in this game was solid mechanics with a dating "sim" mechanic. Take out the dating sim and for me personally it isn't that interesting. Feels more fun reading the dialogue and trying to get on their good side rather than just racing, grinding, level up which is pretty standard freemium.
Interesting point about the dating sim adding a bit to the game. I see your point... I initially only tried it since it was free but actually enjoy the basic drift mechanic. I'm not a iPhone arcade racing kind of fan so the basic drift timing works well for me. I do wish that these games would have been premium. I am not a fan of online or freemium games. I travel for business and love to get into a game that can be played off line on a plane. I also would much rather pay full price instead of have to use the freemium mechanics.
Heh-heh! The draw for me in this game is the complete opposite! I like the fun one-finger drift mechanics of the game and taking out the 'date sim' aspect would make it a decent game actually IMO. So that's why this is deleted and now I'm playing Drift Spirits a lot as it doesn't have the dumb, cheesy date sim thing and the racing part is far superior!
They should change the icon to one of the cute anime girls' faces at least, rather than the one they have now
Nude comic girl crap? Not a single nude image in the game. Are you an SJW or something? But anyway, some of us like women, your loss I guess. The game has great production values and it's fun.
