Ahh no worries. I can't promise you'll like it but I do. I feel like the games difficulty is more balanced since it's a timing based game. With an actual basic racing game, there are so many factors like your own movements, multiple opponent cars, timing, car control, etc that it's easy to get lost in trying to figure out what you did wrong. This game, either your timing is off or your car needs a stat upgrade. I only don't like the timers / online connection but I suppose that's something to be expected in most freemium games. I haven't gotten a CRAZY since the tutorial. Not once. I can't figure it out. It must be a really really small line right in the center of your car. I'm guess you need those for an S rank. Though I'm glad it doesn't seem like I need an S rank to be competitive in story mode.. at the moment.
The best I've done is a GREAT. Didn't even know there was a crazy, as in the tutorial I had a few errors. The way the game is made, the line is so thin that you have to wait until it LOOKS like your back tires are on the line rather than the middle. I have no problem getting decent scores and winning though.
Yeah so far it seems pretty generous without need perfect scores. I do like getting a feel for each car so you can find its "sweet spot". I'm not too far ahead in the game but do you ever get 3 star + car drops? Or are those only with premium random boxes?
If you get a Crazy you get an S-Rank - OR - get all GREAT. I've gotten several S-Ranks because of that. Still searching for a Crazy. Also seems like I'm starting to hit a wall. I had to use my bucks to buy some 3-star cars. Seems like only a matter of time before I'll need to grind to be able to merge cars.
guys, i am saving all my bucks.. first i merged 2 level 10 1 star cars and got a 2 star. Then i got another 2star car from a race. Then i used the same, got them both to level 10 and merged them, and just got my 3star car. This since playing from yesterday, and no heavy grinding or something unpleasant. Also got 3 girls to level 4 fondness
I like the racing mechanics a lot. I could have done without the huge breasted anime girls. It's borderline creepy and misogynistic. Zooming in and focusing on the mechanics boobs for inspection??? Really?? Game deleted.
U find that weird because u don't anime culture that much. I do and I am perfectly fine with it since I watch a lot of anime.
The game is called drift girls and the girls are part of the game features. But not to worry, there's plenty of other racing games out there in the app store if you don't like ones with anime girls in it. Ahh I totally forgot. Damn I got to start maxing out my 1 star cars now. Is there any point to saving any of the 2 star cars I own or should I just merge them? Some look pretty cool...
Save the one two-star car you like the most, and use the others as merge. When you get a 2star car from the merges, you can use your new tw-star car and the 2-star car you liked -and didn't merge yet - to merge them into a 3-star like i did, and so on. I'm in the middle of stage 6 now, and only now is the energy becoming a bit of a problem...
Im right there with you. Stuck on stage 6 because of energy. So are you just using your one star cars are upgrade fodder? I've been using any cars I get to upgrade my best 3star so I can keep moving along with the stages. I got one 3 star to level 10 and now I'm going to start working on getting my identical three star to level 10
Haha, im doing exactly the same! I just got my second 3 star car from getting the first to level 10, so tomorrow i will start levelling that up. 3 stars take a lot more to level up..
What I have a problem with is that you are a "retired racer" with no specific age or gender and when you are asked to choose a specific thing you have like two choices, both of which you may not like. You can't study up on what the girls like and a plus is that they can change moods on the spot. This was a good idea for something original but the dating sim part was executed pretty poorly. Not to mention that none of them care that you are seeing others at the same time. MANY others.
I'm finding that I really like the racing part! You don't steer your car or accelerate (except for nitrous) it's just about timing your drift using the yellow lines and it's not difficult at all, but it IS fun! Everything else, the girls, dating, gifts, corny dialog, is useless and time-consuming etc. That can go as far as I'm concerned. Make lots of tracks or just make it so it's different every time, as well as the upgrading system, and you'd have a better game right there IMO. Thinking about deleting this, but I may play it a bit more, as I like the fun simple drift mechanic but have no interest in any of the rest of the game. This won't be in my library much longer, I'm afraid. They say it's racy. Instead, it's just lame and chintzy.

I'm at episode 5 and I'm already hitted the wall, the new girl is way to hard to satisfy and the opponent car is way too powerful, I'm gonna have to grind all my 3 stars car to max mastery and upgraded them to level 10 so that I can merge them into a 4 stars car then I might have a chance to move on to the next episode, and then I realized there are 14 episodes... This game has a unique idea, but too bad it's a Free2Pay.
SHOW OFF!!!! EDIT: I just merged my first 4-star car! Then I was immediately able to finish episode 6 and unlock World Tour. Oh man, what a grind. But I've already played a couple World Tour matches and it's a lot more fun because the tracks seem twice as long and you race other players!
