What a hoot of a game!
Tried this game just now.....actually is not a bad game. Reminds me of the Rockem'-Sockem' robots game back in the 70's. Even have a human finger push the head back down onto the body....heh Can get upgrades and use tilt to move robot while using touch (fighting gloves) pads to pull the punches. Fight different robots after each winning round. Although just started playing it I'm getting a kick (or punch?) out of this one. Oh yea....free! Touch pads didn't start working till a few taps though.

Update: No save feature. Can change the robots colors and name. I just played the same first round over a few times to get money for upgrades but had a problem upgrading my robot.....not sure if its me or what.

And why is that? In my iTunes it says it's compatible with both...

Ummm....I'm using my Touch while playing it. States in description on iTunes for both. Maybe another version your thinking?

    U should try this...

Hey this is actually pretty sweet, especially because I can actually afford this one! Seriously though, I can see them charging for this soon (Can't see it being more then $0.99 as is right now)... I noticed the sound buttons are mixed up, but it is what it is, rockem'sockem with a few custom options, Still fairly basic for what it is right now, but some updates could make this one really shine... Wi-fi tourneys? If you never played with an actual rockem'sockem set this game showcases exactly what it is. A game which requires no skill really and just mashing a button untill somones head pops off :p

The game is fun and the art kills. Sucks that upgrading your bot doesn't change his appearance.

It's a free game though, so whatever.

Those of you having a problem on the Touch you need to update the touch on itunes to 2.2.1. About the game great to see Armor Games releasing more games for the iPhone and Touch, free none the less. Here is the online version of this game http://armorgames.com/play/2861/drastic-plastic

The online version was pretty easy. I beat the final boss with practically full health.

I have found this game a nice, albeit free, addition to my collection of games. The color customizations and upgradeable parts is fun and the colorful, cartoony visuals are fun to watch.

Save is working fine for me, can quit the game after each fight and continue with the same amount of money and upgrades. The only thing that doesn't seem to save is the robots name and colors. The name defaults to DrasticP each time you exit the program. Most customized colors are lost if you exit to the title screen. All customized colors are lost each time you exit the program.

All upgrades do change the appearance...

For some reason they remind me a lot of Smithy from Super Mario RPG.

Also, for those curious about each level:

    Fight 1
    Fight 2
    Fight 3
    Fight 4
    Fight 5
    Fight 6
    Ending Screen

    Overall
Fun game, but it can be beaten within an hour with little trouble. For what it is though, it's a lot of fun.

Update is now available that fixes the name and customization resetting problem.

For a free game, this is worth a look.
