You are correct Archer....there is a sixth Island (not incl EBC) and I believe it is available at lvl 30 (currently the highest level)
I have 5 Islands (again not incl EBC), will have to get around to clearing 4&5 one day....it's a work in progress project.
Thanks for gem, you are now on my return gem hit list....in a day or two :)

Correct girl power, just checked out feedmelol's island as he is level 30 and has EVERYTHING and he has 6 islands. Dread to think how much it costs though, I just paid the 50 million for island 5!!! Wiped out all my cash so nothing left to decorate it!!
Btw have sent you a couple of gc friend requests? Don't want gems, just like to see other islands! :D:D

Yep the 50 mil put a good dent in my coinage too but as I had been stockpiling for ages with nothing to spend it on, I still had a decent stash left.
I recall reading somewhere that Island 6 costs 100 mil....much harder to stockpile when also trying to grow treat to feed up dragons in order to activate shrines...phew the planning involved.

I haven't received any GC requests from you???
If you want to pm me, I can give you my GC name :)
PS I was just going to let you know that I sent you a friend request, but a notification just popped up to say you accepted...haha, that was quick

You just accepted my friend request so guess it worked!! Thank you! Personally I've given up on the shrines at the moment, soooo time consuming and expensive! Will concentrate on decorating for a while now and trying for another sun, moon, panlong...............:p
Off to visit your island now!!

Just realised, I accepted your request not the other way round!!! Brain obviously not functioning, dv overload!!! I see we both like pocket potions too!

:D:D:D you have everything in abundance....oh you lucky thing you. Rainbow(s) Sandstorm(s) FROSTFIRE(S) and a PANLONG......what is your secret Jazbodooley.....these I really noticed cause they are what I want.
Your Islands look very nice, well done.

I do like that Panlong......I gotta get it before BFS take take it away....blast that crystal/mud....keep getting long fails.....think they are lava eggs.

Others have been successful with these combos (so far, not I)
Cold/scorch or ice/firefly or scorch has also been successful for frosty....good luck :)

Yes, sorry about that, don't think I was quite awake! I accepted your request, not the other way round:rolleyes: went on a tour of your islands to, very nice! Nice potion shop as well!!
Love my panlong and got it first go with mud and sandstorm on the day it came out, just a fluke I think because nothing but fails since then!!! Also no luck with second sun/moon :( anyway, will keep trying and you do the same!!!

Wow! 50 million for island 5 and double for the 6th???? Got the money by then probably but an outrageous challenge and indeed: it pays off to plan ahead and especially to simply keepvthings constantly running and not for instance just emptying your habitats and farms just once every couple of days. If you wanna get ahead in this game, you gotta keep working at it regularly. BFS is making us addicts. Not that I mind.....

Buahahaha! Backlash keeps the blood going. After deleting my twitter account after two years recently I'm kind of missing some good old drama. ;p You should see what goes on over there!
I know you're going to get that frosty. ITA with the fresh dragon idea. Over and over again that's really the only way I get the new dragons. So there has to be at least some validation to that method. Haven't figured out exactly why or how though. And I don't think he's going to vanish so maybe concentrate on the Pan for now I guess. Work on that sucker later. ;) Brand new cold and scorch was the only combo that worked for me and even when I tried to get a second one it failed.
I'm just going to keep recycling the mud and blazes I keep getting and keep a cool head. Maybe. ;)

    Good, but not good enough

    Greets..

So I ran a few numbers. A high level Panlong is a (hatchling) step towards damage control on costs. A maxed out Panlong makes a little more than a Rainbow, and you can fit 3 of them in an earth habitat. Problem is, you then have to babysit the island and collect by the hour, so the final outcome is only doubling the cash production. Yes, I am typing about collecting 75 000 dragoncash an hour. And in my case in about 10 habitats if I start converting my rainbow island.
The next step could be a [CENSORED] Huge habitat, with room for 9 dragons and a ceiling in the 500k (or way up) to sorta match the progression established.

The real solution would have been to flatten the food costs at about level 15... Or 12 frankly ;). BFS didn't see the downside of using an exponential growth for the food costs.

So addicted its not true!!!! I never really played games until I got my iPad in july last year, now my husband and children have to shout at me to get my attention!! I'm either on dragonvale, pocket potions or gardens of time, not to mention several others!! Been doing dv since sept and although very frustrating I have been very lucky and have all the dragons now!! Do buy some gems to speed up the process from time to time but haven't spent too much! would love to get to level 30 for the sixth island but i think it's gonna take a loooong time!! Happy breeding and good luck with whatever you need! :D:D

Mud / Blazing just got me the new Panlong Dragon on the first try. 35 hour wait time. I used that combo because with those two hybrids you have all four elements of the Panlong dragon. Water, Earth, Fire, and then Air. Its the first 4 element Dragon I am aware of. Looks pretty cool too. :]

@ girlpower, lol I have to do the samething ( re-read posts). Let's see, for your Thorn level ten air and level for mud. That combo really works almost every time! My rainbow finally came with a level four firefly and level four seaweed. The Panlong I got from breeding a level nine mud (the same one from the rainbow leveled up) and level ten blazing. All of these dragons were bred in the regular breeding cave, including the frostie but I can't remember what I used for him. My epic breeding cave has not thrown any of the new and/or rare dragons. I have a feeling that luck will soon come your way, I know at least for me....I get the dragons that I have been trying for when I've given up and tried for something else. Luck to you!

That's funny I started laughing when i read your post! I have never been interested in video or computer games until dragonvale! My son made reference to it one day, and was talking about how addictive it was so I looked it up and have been a dragonvale fan ever since! That was in the beginning of November, just missed the bone dragon. now my kids joke about how much I play it. Maybe I will look up the other games you mentioned...well maybe I better not lol. For me, I enjoy talking with all of you in the forum just as much as I enjoy the game.

You are exactly right, the other plus side of the pan is as your trying to level up your 50 dragons for the shrines you will receive credit for all four elements.

So since the panlong dragon is a four element dragon do they apply to all four shrines and does anyone know what kind of orb is over its head above lvl 10

Same here!! My daughter started the dv island on my iPad, played it for about a day and then left it. I decided to have a look a few days later and was well and truly hooked!! Now my daughter thinks I'm very sad!! Then I started pocket potions and garden of time and have little time for anything else!! Housework? What housework?? :D:D

this is the one and only game I have ever played and originally downloaded it for my daughter because she was reading the Eragon series.
    Hence my chosen alias...
Best of luck to all, I really enjoy reading the posts as much as the game. Well, most of the posts, some have been a little on the nasty side!
Still no pan or frosty for me...
