Hi All I've been following this thread since the beginning - so first of all thanks for everyones help. I too have bred the iceberg in one try and wonder if anyone else has too? Maybe they want to ease a lot of peoples frustrations by giving us a 'freebie' so to speak. You don't have to rip your hair out trying to breed one...

Hi all! This Iceberg dragon must be super easy- had both caves free so bred ice/mountain in one & quake/ice in the other. Got a bright blue egg with ice crystals from both!
You're right, stiredbird! A pic of the egg & baby are on the DragonVale Wiki http://dragonvale.wikia.com/wiki/Eggs Breed time reportedly is 12 hrs & harder to get than Iceberg. Use cold/fire combo. My first 2 trys are unsuccessful-ice/fire & ice/scorch
I tried it with iceberg/scorch, and annoyingly got a 48-hour wait time, which means both my breeding caves are now tied up for 2 days! I would have been thrilled with that only a couple of weeks ago!
Could we ever breed a dragon before that wasn't on the list in the market? Don't think so. This frostbite sounds like BS.
Nope! Ice/firefly worked for me; the frostfire is real. And, yes, the blue fire could also be bred before it appeared in the market.
Yes, it has happenned before.. Most of the newer hybrids were discovered before they were publicly announced.
That's where the shrines and a few hundred million dragoncash comes in. You start raising a dragon of the right element( hybrids count as both) and the shrine's counter go up. Get 50 level 10 cold based dragon(exemple) and you can start raising them past 10... Then the same rigamarole at 15. You're lucky, you won't have to replace the 30+ dragons I had at lvl 15 before the shrines were updated to handle level 15+ Musta blown 300 millions so far.... Doing 5-10 millions a day rising hybrids for the gold shrines.
So yea after 2 tries i got a frostfire. Using cold+scorch. Turns out its true but it only gave 1xp lol.. Check my islands if u wanna see
Just got a 48 hour egg! Don't know exactly what dragon, hopefully rainbow, used ice and firefly both level 10 I'm level 19 and I had a rainbow habitat already (I heard that helps) Hope this helps, I'll get back when it hatchs
"hot news": Hit by iceberg WOW! Got the Iceberg first try! Mixed water level 10 en cold level 7 on the right and immediately spot on! Funny thing though: we tried this combo just a few hours before we got the first notification that there exists an icebergdragon at all.... Love the randomness of this game: rainbow, sandstorm and sun took me and my kids really ages. Moon was slightly easier and now an iceberg got to as quickly and efficiently and that infamous one back in 1912 did.... Well, we got m all dragons at the moment, inlcuding reindeer and bone.... Check us at gamecenter id jheuvel...... P.s. Icebergegg is blue with white snowflakes on it.
Great Icrit! This one is starting to frustrate me. I've tried your combo 2x's & no luck. Have tried many other combos of cold/fire hybrid & I've gotten Iceberg eggs twice! That makes Iceberg 4 vs Frostfire big fat 0. It should definitely be worth more than 1 lousy xp!
