Have anyone figured out how to spread the boosts among the 3 islands and habitats such that there is no negative reflected on any hybrid (2 element) dragons?

Hey exomega. Not sure if it's possible to have absolutely NO negative affect on any of them, but I have mine pretty close. The way I have mine with all boosts active is below. Dragons in red are being negatively impacted, but the rest are being "boosted" positively.

    Island 1
    Earth Habitat: Earth, Moss, Quake
    Cold Habitat: Cold, Mountain
    Lightning Habitat: Lightning, Crystal, Storm

    Island 2
Water Habitat: Swamp, Mud, Seaweed, Ice, Water
Air Habitat: Air, Willow, Sonic, Blazing, Snow, Fog

    Island 3
    Plant Habitat: Plant, Tree
Fire Habitat: Fire, Flower, Firefly, Lava, Poison, Scorch

I don't have my Blue Fire dragon yet so not sure where I'll put it. My Rainbow is in the nursery and not hatched yet, but I don't think it will be impacted by boosts at all.

I haven't done a ton of analysis on this so there may be a better way to do it. Just thought I would share.

    Hope this helps! :)

Thanks, stryker. I am always a metagame player, so I actually did my own excell sheet, and I found a combo. It will house the 29 existing dragons, with NO neg effect, a few type of dragons will get DOUBLE boost (aka, 40% boost), and it is split across 3 islands where all but 2-3 dragons are in their best money earning habitats. Please check it out and comment!

Island 1: Plant, Fire, Earth boost:

    Habitat:

    Plant x 1 (Plant)

    Earth x3
(Earth, Quake, Crystal, Moss, Lava, Tree, Mud)

    Water x1
    (Swamp, Seaweed)

    Fire x2
    (Flower, Firefly, Scorch, Poison, Fire)

    Island 2: Lightning, Cold Boost

    Habitat:

    Cold x2
    (Cold, Mountain, Storm, Bluefire)

    Lightning x1
    (Lightning)

    Rainbow x1
    (Rainbow)

    Island 3: Air, Water Boost

    Habitat:

    Cold x1
    (Ice, Snow)

    Water x1
    (Water, Fog)

    Air x1
    (Sonic, Willow, Air)

    Fire x1
    (Blazing)

Every dragon bar Mountain, I think, are in their best habitat. 15 Habitats necessary total. I haven't gotten Blue Fire, Rainbow, and a few others (busy breeding air dragon to raise profits as I am only level 16)

    Comments are welcomed.

Here is what's covered in this build:

    1. NO negative boost at all.
    2. EVERY dragon is boosted at least once
    3. Some dragons are boosted twice
    4. Every Island have enough room for it
    5. Only need 15 habitats

Notes: This is only theory crafting. I don't have some of the dragons, so I haven't realized this yet, but until we get new dragons, this will be my setup.

(oh, and ofcourse rainbow cannot be boosted. HOWEVER, blue fire, CAN., because cold boost is the only one that can affect it, since fire boost is down on cold, but cold boost is only down on plant)

Well exomega, maybe I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking for advice but looks like you have a pretty detailed plan in place already.

... and stogie, I used Firefly/Seaweed both level 10 to get the rainbow. I should mention though that I bred dozens of times before finally getting it. Many combinations, many times.

Stryker, you didn't misunderstand ^^; When I posted that question, indeed, I didn't know if it was possible or such a combination exist. After I posted it, and before you posted, I went to an excel spreadsheet and entered the data and did my calculations, when I finished, you had posted already before I posted my results, so you understood correctly! I didn't know any before I calculated it! ;)

You can spread the boost this way to avoid any negative.

    Island 1 Fire/plant/Lighting
    Island 2 Earth/Water
    Island 3 Air/Cold

All dragon will receive a positive effect and some will receive from two boost(I don't know if it stacks or not)

Got my rainbow with Crystal & Blaze both level 10 in that order.

anyone got a way to gain exp after you get all the dragons? I am in need of more habitats limit and more farm limit. Right now I am 17, but it seems like the best way to gain lots of exp is building volcanos and lightning crystals and destroying them...?

edit:: wow, quite powerful... blue fire dragon at level 10 gives 156 gold/min boosted. 3 of them at cold habitat can fill it to 50K in less than 2 hours...

    Rainbow dragon

Hey all. I bred a flower dragon with a swamp dragon and I got the rainbow dragon. The thing is awesome. It's probably not guaranteed to give you a rainbow dragon everytime but those are the ones I used and I got the rainbow on the first try. ;)

Most of the requirements you stated are not completely true.

    1. You don't need to be 16. The earliest you can get Rainbow is 12, I believe. But that's debatable.

    2. Seaweed and firefly is NOT the only combination that works. I bred 2 rainbows using Swamp + firefly. Crystal with another one, works, too.

    3. Both dragons do NOT need to be level 10. I bred my first rainbow with 2 level 7. The second time I bred it with 9 and 7.

    4. My first rainbow was bred before I got 3rd island. I also didn't have the rainbow flags. I did not have rainbow habitat.

ALL YOU NEED: 2 dragons that are shown to work, with more than one record of it working (check out dragonvale doc that's linked here).

-Dragon LEVEL is NOT a requirement
-Rainbow habitats/flags are NOT a requirement
-YOUR level is also not a requirement.

    just wanted to clarify.
