Breeding in the morning after 7 am did nothing. I think I am going to try cold/lightning next with intermittent fire/storm. Blue fire/crystal just gave me long wait times.
Got a Sun + mystery egg Hey everyone. Since the update, I've been playing again. So sorry if I haven't gifted you back, I'm not even sure who did gift me. Anyways I got my first sun dragon using BlueFire and Crystal combo on the epic breeding island (which I did not buy any gems) on my... 5th or 6th try. Also I bred a reindeer with a cold and a 12hr timer showed up. Weird, right? I just finished incubating now it's waiting to hatch. The egg is completely white with snowflakes on it. I'm not sure what dragon it is so if anyone knows anything about this, please help. Tomorrow I'll be able to confirm what dragon it is though. Good luck everyone, Taitai1999
Hey guys...been slacking on the dragons lately since I really have nothing left to do. Letting my son take care of them for now but I'm keeping up on the gem giving, don't worry. I have no urge to do the whole shrine thing. Did hit level 24 and got the air shrine so only one left. Just have to wait for an update I guess for some new dragons so I can get back into it. Trade nations is keeping me occupied in the meantime. Dave, you can definitely make a second game center account so you can play too. My daughter uses my iPod so I made her a second account on there.
Whoop whoop FINALLY got a darn Sandstorm egg!!! Hi everyone, Well knock me over with shock! Yes, it is a miracle, but unbelievably after trying to get this bleep bleep thing, I got it!!!! Does anyone remember how long ago this thing was released, just curious to know how many months I have been trying now? Wanted to post what I did also, in the hope that it may help others that are having as much trouble with THORN as I have been. After numerous (don't say this lightly) tries with air/mud or mud/air mainly but also tried air/tree air/quake I kept going back to air/mud..... Anyway earlier today, I decided to use both my air dragons twice to breed two new air dragons.... then sold my two old ones. I then fed one air dragon straight to lvl 10 and immediately bred it with an old lvl 10 mud and bam.....for the first time I saw a two hr timer.....had to look at this about three times....haha you guys know I got a 24 hr timer wrong and told you I had a 48 hr timer, oops...so I wanted to wait and see the egg before I shared my long overdue news.....now I will still do what I said when it's hatched....and that is starve it....it's all I can do to pacify myself in the justice is served and karma department.....vicious aren't I
Thanks Dawnstar, you are sooooo thoughtful But after playing this app for 3 1/2 months now, I truly believe its mostly a random thing, so it's really just a matter of keep trying over and over.... As long as the required elements are present in the combos used, it should happen eventually.....it just seems some hit the jackpot way quicker than others, luck of the draw it seems. At least now I only need the sun plus I would like a second rainbow. Hope I can get these before they bring out more new dragons just so I can catch up to those who now have them all....always trying to play catch up these days
Ahh....I have done fire/storm twice again so far, but it didn't work last time round so I think a different combo may be better for me OR I may sell my fire, get a newbie and try with new fire/storm....heck this time that may have helped with Sandstorm and I know it has worked for others....we really do start to clutch at straws and try anything in the end don't we (not desperate at all)
Fire/Storm has low breeding rates if you don't get a sun dragon. You either get: storm (5hours), blue fire(12hours), firefly/scorch(3hours) or sun
Finally got a sun dragon egg! I'm level 25, have all the shrines to 50 and was missing the sun for so long. Got 3 rainbows and 2 moons before I got this one. Sun combo I used was Sonic(12)/Storm(12) on epic island at 4:31 pm in the afternoon. I actually don't think the time of breeding matters at all as my two moons were bred in the afternoon as well. I'm pretty sure it's just a rumor that started somewhere and now everyone believes the time of day affects moon/sun breeding.
Something weird Something weird happened. I forgot to post this last time, but when my Sun dragon hatched, I got the "Every Last One" award, but I still needed Moon. Probably another glitch though. Any suggestions for Moon? Taitai1999
I got a sun egg as well this morning (couldn't wait and just used crystals to speed up breeding). You may be right about the time being just a rumour. Who knows, I can relax now and upgrade the shrines at my leisure. There was a pretty good post earlier in the thread about using only 4 dragons to upgrade all the shrines. One of the strategies was to use sandstorm to upgrade earth and air shrines. I have been trying to get a second sandstorm by breeding Sandstorm /Air but so far I am getting Air and Earth only. At least wait times are really short.
Hi all, I have a problem. I have formed and summoned the 3rd island but it is still showing as one of my needed goals. I have habitats on the island and everything. Any idea why? Thanks
