I've been tryin the swamp and firefly combo for a while, in both combos. I'm sick of seeing three and nine hour timers. I think I'll try flower and storm, I accidentally sold my flower when leveling for the plant shrine, so I may as well break the habit of firefly and swamp now... It's good to know that at least one person has had a 48 he timer with storm and flower
Update I have tried to email backflip about the issue I have and they still not have responded so I figured I'd try to see if anyone else has had this issue and resolved it. I updated dragonvale on December 2nd and it didn't actually update it. There isn't any snow or new items... My question does anyone know how to fix this??? I was going to remove it off my iPad and reinstall it but when I goto remove it a message pops up saying I'd lose all my progession... Please Help!
Congrats, Jornpod! As soon as I read your post, tried the same & got a 3 hr timer I don't think I'll ever get the Sun- maybe it's because I'm a night owl? Even using 2 breeding caves and every posted combo, it just won't happen.
Don't feel bad, Girlpower! I can never get that timer thing right. My method? I check to see how many gems it needs to speed up- That I can wrap my head around!
I It actually says you'll lose your progression or does it really say something about removing your progression from game centre? I'd really have no doubts in removing the application and reinstalling it. Firstly you won't lose your progress because the data isn't saved locally and from first hand experience of having the exact same problem as you, I uninstalled reinstalled within minutes and it was working fine. TRUE it shouldn't happen in the first place, but hey, these things happen.
Does it help if i say that it happened 14:30 local time ? So in the middle of the day , european times

A friend, hollywood'10, had the same issue, when she updated it it hadn't done anything, still grass, no snow, and she couldn't enter the eggs screen or visit other vales, the game would kick her out. When she tried uninstalling it it told her all the data would be removed. She logged out of her GameCenter account and logged into my secondary account, I didn't mind losing the data, then she deleted the game and redownloaded it and logged back into her account and played it, she has the full update, snow and shrines and reindeer dragon, she can visit other vales and she can view the eggs screen. And just so you know, neither of our vales were affected, the game is saved according to GameCenter account it should ask when you delete, after you say yes for the first message you saw, whether or not you want to keep the GameCenter info, that is what u should keep...so no worries uninstall it and reinstall just say u want to keep the GC info when u delete
After reading this post I bred Bluey with Crystal in a normal cave - got my second Moon. It was 10.37 pm local time. Today I tried Firefly and Seaweed in an Epic Cave - got 48hr timer. That's after weeks of nothing - two 48hr timers in as many days. CRAZY.
What Determines Park Value!?!?!?!? For a long time I had been filling in the gaps between my larger decorations and habitats with sky trees thinking that since they are the most expensive single block items that my park value would skyrocket, but now that most of my vale has been decorated and I can't seem to find anything else to do and the cash is gathering, my park value has risen more in the last two days than the weeks of sky tree purchasing. I tested, noting my park value first and then collecting from all my habitats and checking again, but there was no difference between the two values. Does anyone know exactly how park value is calculated and how my one GC friend who has no extraordinary amounts of expensive decorations or rare dragons and habitats has over a thousand times the park value as me?
I think it's coins + possessions combined. Don't think GC updates straight away, collect your coins then check your value after an hour or so. I haven't been decorating and my value has been rising from coins. Your GC friend is probably a jailbreaker and purchases gems without paying for them.
Your friend kept his money. Back (waaaaaaaayyyyyyy back) when I was working on my first Rainbow my GC rating fell like a rock ( also had to do with peeps finding the cheat . ) so I asked the same question. There may be something about the stuff you bought but cash in bank is the biggest contributor, as you can see by the level 15 upgrade that is a mind-blowing dragoncash vaccuum. I stopped burning cash on most expensive food and structures (experience should matter in that ranking dangit) and the drop slowed. Still hovering in the top percentile... Fingers D
