Thank you for the shrine guide! I did the plant shrine upgrade since that was fast. I'm curious what having them all active will do. I guess I'll try slowly but surely. It's just so time consuming and monotonous. Almost at level 23 so I'm guessing another shrine will unlock for me soon.
Additional habitats? Hey all, As you level up into 21, 22, 23, etc. are there any rewards such as the ability to buy more habitats? I've spent a lot of time designing my park and putting certain dragons in certain places. I'd rather not sell my favorites to make room for new breeding challenges. I'm sure you understand. By the way, I love it when I tap on the visitor tips and it tells me that another island would draw more visitors. Tell me about it!! Currently waiting on two 48 hour breedings...hoping one is a Sun. The first is a fire + storm in the epic, second is a bluey + crystal in the regular. Tick tock...
Nope...no additional habitats so far unlocked at level 22. I wish they did. Had to sell one of my earth ones (along with my original dragons) to make room for a moon habitat. On dtr's game another cold/tree has brought me 14 hours (or 12 I forget). Grrrrr....so wish I could use a different combo for her with shorter fail time.
Hey, Girlpower. Yea, it's pretty crazy trying to get this sandstorm. All my dinos are level 10 or 15. I don't have a blue fire either. Tried for so long. I'm trying to save up enough gems to buy a blue fire, it's much cheaper than the sandstorm. Strange that the rainbow is easier to get than sandstorm, I bred 2 already. I had all of the goals done and bread two rainbows One with swamp and firefly then another with seaweed and firelfly You can also get it by quake and blue fire
It was a moon! Finally....I now have all the dragons. Time to work on a second reindeer. Its kind of bitter-sweet. I was so aggravated after weeks and weeks of trying for the rare dragons but now I feel kind of sad that I have nothing left to do. Except the shrines. It's such a weird feeling after playing the game for the last four months. Somehow I doubt there will be a New Year dragon since we just got the reindeer. I think I'll hold out hope for Valentines Day....maybe a pink dragon is in our future.
Got Reindeer with Snow + Plant last night in normal breeding cave (actually my daughter with all the luck got it) Then, I tried again and got another snow. Tried Reindeer/Plant got another 5hr time (ok it wasn't me; same lucky kid did it again!)
Yep, somehow they made the idiotic move of not adding more habitats with these new level ups. If the devs are reading, THis is the major most limiting elemment of the game, and after adding more breeding capabilities and shrines that require high numbers of dragons, how could you NOT add more habitat max??? Just stupid.

I would add one detail, if you were to upgrade one farm to Huge and keep the other 7 at Large you could stick the seven on daily growths of whatever takes a day continuously and buy whatever you need NOW via the Huge one. Reason being that the Huge-only foods cost twice as much as the more expensive Large-items. As you will probably try to eat and sleep somewhere in there I'd hazard that 11 days will be more like a couple of weeks, so the savings should be not quite trivial. (and I was starting at 200+ Million Dragonbucks.) Feel free to take a peek at my setup, I'm rather happy with it. Ha ha ha! Yes, sorry I meant dragons I wish you all get reindeer dragons for Christmas! It sounded funny when I wrote dinos and I know they're dragons, my mind was just elsewhere. Been a long day. I'm hoping to get a moon, sun, reindeer, blue fire, and sandstorm by the new year. Then I'd have one of each. It'd be nice if we could gift dragons or sell them to each other. Maybe one day
I wish there was a coliseum or some building where you could request to battle people in your friends list for gems with a 24 hour time period similar to the way the current coliseum works. The trade off would be that you wouldn't be able to gain income from the dragon during that time period but it would promoting adding friends and social networking in the game. It would also be cool if this battle system implemented a "counter" where certain dragon types were better vs other types but neither player would know what the other player sent out to battle until it was accepted. Kind of like rock paper scissors vs your friends but with dragons.

Thanks for the tip. Cold/Willow got me a 9 hour breed time which is almost finished so I'll give that a try.
I dont understand why a level 15 dragon is just a dragon with an orb above its head. Would have been a perfect way to have the next 'evolution' of it
Maybe try ice/willow or ice/plant like I did.....sorry the cold/willow didn't work....9 hrs GRR.... I am appreciating my reindeer even more now, 'randomness' must have briefly taken pity on me.....but reared its ugly head as soon as I tried for sandstorm again....If I get many more storm dragons, I think I will puke.....have hatched three today and have another 3 in the nursery.....probably breeding more also same deal yesterday also....anyway, fingers crossed for your reindeer real soon
