I woke up midday yesterday and bred seaweed with firefly just to pass time till night time then I could continue trying for moon, ended up getting my second rainbow and a 48 hour wait lol. I wanted a second rainbow anyway and thats why I chose those. Seems to happen often this, when you don't want something, thats what you get!
Well tried for a moon tonight using the same fire/storm I used for the sun dragon. Got firefly twice and now a 12 hour breed time. Guess a second bluey. Geez this game is wonky....
You're telling me.....I've hatched four of them and the 5th is still an egg in the nursery,lol, can you believe I have 4 flying around? I don't have four of anything....but I just couldn't bring myself to hit the sell button.....I actually got my first one way back and after only 5 attempts.....but I had been trying for a second one ages ago (before the impossible sun/moon ever came on the scene) along with a second rainbow because they were excellent coin collectors.....I finally gave up hope of a second Bluey and stupidly thought I would have more luck with a sun /moon purely because I couldn't get another Bluey or rainbow, nor my first sandstorm (GRR) so I figured the odds couldn't possibly be stacked against me with these two new ones..... Well wasn't I WRONG in thinking that..... Damn “extreme random" dragons....they have completely stolen all the joy I once had for this app....and that was a lot of joy by the way..... I kind of now feel like I am coming to a cross roads with DV. I had been 100% dedicated to this app and all my dragons, challenges, points, even purchased min. amount of gems on 4-5 occasions, couldn't get enough of this app, my all time fav. I have actually taken up one of my lovely GC friends suggestions and downloaded another app called pocket potions, it's nice to have something else to enjoy apart from continual dragon failures. Sorry....didn't intentionally mean this to turn into another rant.....

Alright so to catch everyone up, I now have 2 moon dragons, one in the nursery all from Fire + Storm. Last night at 2:30 AM EST, I tried it again hoping for Blue Fire or Sun and I got a 48 hour breed time. If it's ANOTHER moon dragon I'm going to cry. lol I hope Backflip Studios allows dragon gifting at some point. Perhaps 3 a week or something.
Hey girl! I actually don't mind another bluey...kind of like the color in the fire habitat so I wasn't too disappointed. Was happy it wasn't another storm. I've been getting those and weeding them out like crazy lately. I keep trying new dragons each time. I've kind of given up on the moon so I'm half-heartedly breeding right now. I also don't want to have to sell more habitats if I end up with a third sun. It's kind of a downer we can't have more. I too go to pocket potions for relaxation. And I also discovered we rule which is a lot of fun so far. And no stress.
It would have to be a poison...30 min breeding + 30 min incubation x2 = 2hrs (1st post just before 8pm, second post just after 10pm) Would you add me so I can check out your islands? schnizler
My daughter is also rather bored with DV and only checks in once or twice/day and is really liking pocket frogs (someone's suggestion on this forum...thanks!)
go figure Just when I threaten to move onto other things this game 'throws me a bone'. Just got a 48hr timer with Flower + Storm (the same storm that resulted in my moon...) it was approx 6:45pm Central Time in Canada. FYI for those asking about doing better in the Colosseum...I just got a silver in Air event with a level 10 Sandstorm ...so my theory about 'hard to get' hybrids may be bogus.
