    Beautiful sight!

What a great use of time while waiting for the next update, Narakai! I think I may have to take a break from trying for Sun & Moon and breed my 2 Bones  Would love to see that cracked egg in my nursery!

Thanks for the suggestion, Herp, but I've tried that combo too ( many times). Nothing is working for me. It's so funny how some of us can get multiples of one of the hard to breed dragons and zero success for others. <sigh:mad:

Then let us hope against hope this issue is addressed in the next update my friend! And best of luck in your breeding endeavors!

Thanks, Herp & to you too! After all, if we get too bored with this someone may resort to making up hoax dragons...... Hee! Hee!

Yeah that bone egg is pretty cool and Narakai- I'm envious of your decorating skills!
Grats to Herp on the sandstorm, and Aly for a second Rainbow! Bluang- wish I could take that extra Sunny off your hands.
Aly - for Moon I used Blue Fire x Storm and some have used reverse order for the same. Didn't take me very long but that, as we know, means nothing. :(

Five blueys. That just makes me sad. They should be easier to get than sun /moon, yet I still have two moons now ( possibly more, and no blueys!). The randomness is crazy...

    Less than worthy names

Oh yeah, I change them sometimes. Thanks. Still when it comes time to thin out the dupes in the herd I pick the names I don't like. It's cold, I know. But sometimes you have to be hard.

Edit: Just renamed a Storm from Speedy to Sunny. Maybe "Speedy" was responsible for all those 3 hr times instead of the desired 48 (for Sun).

    Sandstorm randomness

Has anyone else noticed that not only is the adult sandstorm dragon bigger than the adult air dragon, but the baby sandstorm is smaller than the baby air! And the juveniles are same size..... Lemme know if you want picture evidence!

WAHOOOO! Turns out that 48hour clock that I thought was my third moon dragon is actually a sun egg! Which left me with only the blue fire to go, but I immediately bred the same level 4 fire and storm for a 12 hour timer, which can only be a blue fire. Two days from now I'll have all the dragons!

Thanks Alyjens. I like the egg for the bone dragon. Do save one in your nursery. Adds something special.

Thanks foxtail2010. There is not a lot you can do once you have all dragons and level 20 so I just collect coins and shift things about. I did have fun trying to get the eggs for the nursery. I just wish I had another spot for the moon egg.... That one has eluded me since getting the one on my island.

Well this seemed too fun not too answer...but I am not sure what you used to get your Sandstorm (air/mud?). I haven't read this thread for a few days and I had several pages to catch up on. I am going to guess Sun. Only because I can't seem to get one...or a Rainbow for that matter. My 48hr timer turned into a Moon on Friday...and tried the same pair several more times with no luck.
I think I will breed two Bones and keep that egg in my hatchery cause it is soo cool.

ps has anyone ever counted the number of times they breed before having success with a more challenging dragon?

    Sun Egg!

Just days after getting my moon dragon, I now have a sun egg incubating. I got both using a plain fire dragon and storm dragon (in that order). They are both first generations of their breed (as in the fire dragon came directly from the shop and the storm dragon came directly from breeding lighting and cold dragons that camefrom the shop). Not sure if any of that matters, but I figured I would mention it as there are some theories out there about hybrid bloodlines.

Also, I don't know if it matters, but when I got the moon egg, I had started breeding at roughly 11pm cst. When I got the sun egg, I had started breeding at roughly 11pm cst.

Now I can't wait for this guy to hatch so I can see if the moon and sun dragons can be bred together (and if so, hopefully provide a high chance for a rainbow dragon).

Thanks, Foxtail. I tried your suggestion twice. First with a never been bred Storm and then with a worn out breeder Storm.:D Nothing but 3 hr breed times. I have a second Bluey waiting to hatch. Maybe I'll try again with him.
Enough of this- next I'm going for a cracked Bone egg to keep in my nursery.
Oh, and thanks for the gem!

Ooh! Ooh! <frantically waving raised hand> Is it your long sought after Rainbow?:D

Hey guys, I'm really enjoying this game. I play is with my son who is obsessed with checking on his dragons.

I've been very lucky it seems so far. I've been playing for a little over a week and it seems whichever dragon I've set out to breed I've usually been able to get it with only one or two tries including the Blue Fire. The only exception was the Sandstorm which took me a few tries.

The only dragons I have left to get now are, of course, the hardest ones: Sun, Moon and Rainbow. I set out today trying to breed a Sun using a Storm and Fire in that order. On about my third attempt the breeding time shows 48 hours. Don't have the egg yet so I'm not sure what I got.

Once I have the Sun and Moon I'll set out for that elusive Rainbow. I'm sure that will take forever.

My main problem: I started playing after the Bone Dragon was no longer available so I guess I won't be getting one of those.

    Nope

I wish! No, not quite a rainbow. Already I've done this twice with the same yield, so that should be a hint people, look at the times between original comp post and this one. Dragon has to be able to have been bred and hatched twice in that time.
