Dragonvale: Strategies/Tips (NOT an add me thread)

Thanks. Dean made his available for breeding so I'm currently trying to get one of those. Yes I use that for combos and things but I haven't really had a look around. I always google. Hope nobody reads my search history. "Can you get a prism dragon by breeding with a friend" not sure what they would make of that

 

If anyone has all the galaxy dragons and doesn't mind putting Prism up for breeding, I'd appreciate it muchly ##

 

Tagged my Prism as favorite for breeding with friends ... You should be able to use it now

 

Thank you! I have a 50 hour wait with a second dream at the moment but as soon as that is done I'll have another try for Prism. Elysium looks pretty cool!

 

Argh! I'm having NO luck breeding an Elysium. The Platinum and Double Rainbow fails are killing me.

 

It is an annoying breeding pair. Almost guaranteed a long fail. Ragnarok, Seasonal and Quicksilvers for me. Had 3 rainbows in the hatchers at one point #

 

I've just seen Elysium is only available until tomorrow! This is ridiculous - I don't stand a chance with all the excruciatingly long fails #

 

You're having no luck either? I skipped a few with gems but I'm not wasting them all on one dragon lol. It's only been out like a week hasn't it? Thought I had it but looks like it may have been an electrum. Oh well. Sure some helpful person will favourite it for people who miss it

 

I don't think it's even been a week yet!! Lots of unhappy comments on Facebook!

 

How lucky am I? Somebody gave me a twin and it's an Elysium! I had just about given up all hope of getting one when I saw the time scale they gave us! I will put it up for breeding just as soon as its hatched so you can all use it to get one too

 

That's a stroke of luck! I think just about everybody is struggling with this one. My last try just now yielded a 32 hour fail. Think I'll be using your lucky twin lol. Thanks

Wow, I just got one too currently in the hatchery...thought it was a platinum again. Sheer luck on that one. At least it can be used to breed another one.

 

And then one turned up from my own breeding attempts! Just the display egg to go now! Then back to the galactic dragons to try for a Bizurian I will put the Elysium as my breeding option so you have a better chance of getting another.

Thanks for the twin Deeneez! Does anyone know whether twins have better earning rates than normal dragons?
Anyone got a Bizurian dragon they would be happy to put up for co-op breeding, it's the only dragon I haven't got TIA

 

Thanks Deneez, I'll keep trying but the LONG fails are so annoying!! I've been using Dream to breed with Elysium, any other suggestions welcome!

 

Try switching to Monolith 1 or Moonstruck. But there will still be those long fails.
