Heh I'm having the opposite problem! I have a second moon dragon in the hatchery (and possibly a third in the breeder, another 2 day timer which happened at 4pm yesterday), but still can't get the blue fire OR sun!
Sorry for the noob question and sorry if it is answered somewhere else in this thread, but can i breed all dragons that are available for gems in the market? And how do you get extra gems besides buying them? Gamecenter: ßeta (easier just to copy and paste my username)
All the dragons are breedable in the game....some way harder than others. I've been playing about 4 months and never bought a dragon. Just takes time and patience (along with some hair loss from ripping your hair in frustration). Haha! Welcome to dragonvale!
On my Third Moon Dragon from Fire + Storm... has anyone actually gotten sun or blue fire with this combo? Because that's what I'm aiming for lol
Impossible. Statistically impossible. I think what you meant to say was "All the HYBRID dragons are breed able in the game.." Without buying the purebreds, you can't complete the game! Lol, just me being anal, a grammar nazi and myself all in one!
Hi there, I believe this combo can also produce sun, not that I can personally confirm As far as Blue fire, yep definitely.....this combo has now given me 4 Blueys Funny thing is for weeks I couldn't get a 'second blue fire’ to save myself...then when trying for sun/moon....I got a 12 hr breed time...didn't even click until I saw the egg, then got another one straight away....then got another one after a few more goes now have just got another one which I have left sitting in my nursery for now, hey I will swap you my Bluey for your spare moon..... I dont need 5!
Still waiting for response from Backflip Studios Hi guys and gals, Still waiting for some feedback from BS Think I may forward original email to the support section tomorrow, previous email went to a specific person who has replied to two earlier queries, thought I may get a more informed response due to a bit of history building up As far as sun/moon....sigh (that says it all) I even brought a new fire, kept one of my many storm eggs, fed them both to the max, then held my breath when hitting the breed button.....boo hoo another Bluey (the irony of being dissapointed with one of these). 5 is surreal for me. I even sat up till 1.15 am Oz time and tried Fire/Storm....alas another storm. Regarding the colosseum...... I am finding I have better odds of getting 5 gems by using hybrids with one correct element for the current event....and they haven't needed to be lvl 10. If I use my purebreeds, I tend to often only get two or no gems (coins and bronze medal instead). Haha, probably make a liar out of me now I've stated this, will know in a few hours when current event is finished....it may not be every time, but definitely much better odds with hybrids
Haha, looks like we have both got very good at breeding Blueys How about reverse psychology....we don't want Blue Fires , now keep getting them....maybe we should start thinking/saying we don't want Moon (sun also) for me...oh and Sandstorm (haha, don't know that I care about that one anymore)....or am I just beyond help?
I also can confirm that Blue Fire comes from this combo. I've bred 3 from fire x storm. My first Bluey was via fire x ice (or snow- don't remember) and took quite a while to acquire it. Now I get them as Sun fails. Crazy. Haven't played many myself but this one seems simpler than most, and in a good way. or maybe just easier, quicker, to pick up. It also doesn't degrade if you leave it unattended. No dragon deaths or unhappiness. The worst that happens is your habitat coins max out and sit waiting for you to collect. And maybe uncollected gem gifts go away after a time? Personally, I like the fantasy theme, appeals to all ages. Offline- nope.
girlpower Ha! I've done the same. Replaced some of my old breeding stock - Fire & Storms (didn't like their names so out they went). Anything to shake it up a bit! As for girlpower's Colosseum comment: I agree. Seem to get better gem awards using a related hybrid than with pure blood (aka plant, fire, earth, water). Hey guys, does visitor count matter at all? Does it affect park value, leaderboard standing, etc? I never look at it anymore.
Hey Foxtail, I dont really take any notice of the visitor count anymore. Park value is a bit confusing for me to understand.....I currently have approx 22 DV GC friends....most have sun or moon, yet out of them all, my park value is the highest ???? I think the coins must have a lot to do with this, I have around 141+ mill (maybe more, again nothing to spend them on, so haven't checked lately) yet I don't have, sun/moon or sandstorm YET! GRRR. On leader board I was in 6,000+ place out of 2 million+ playing DV, last time I looked but again, I don't care about this as I know I am competing with so many jailbreak cheats....so I will never get anywhere near the top anyway PS, did you know you can change your dragons names?
Hi guys I have been a bit bored so decided to breed special dragons for display in the hatchery. I got the cracked egg when I bred my two bone dragons. I think this is the egg that is used for them now and not the lava one. Thanks for the compliments too. Much appreciated.
I wanted to have a sun moon rainbow and blue fire in my hatchery just for something to do. I have had all dragons and level 20 for a very long time so was just playing. I couldn't get the moon again from ice and scorch or fire and storm. All I have been getting from fire and storm was sun and blue fire. It certainly beats me the way combos work differently for people.

Ahhhhhhh!!! Hahahaha! Well....if we want to be picky lets look at his message. He said dragons available for gems. Hence, I responded as I did, since only the hybrids cost gems. Feel free to call me out on grammar anytime. I'm a stickler for that. Oh, and my egg turned out to be another sun. Sold my moon habitat to make room. I'll keep trying for that moon. Same combo of fire/storm because I'm curious to see if I may get a third sun during the day hours.
Way to go! Woo Hoo, Herp! Still waiting for Sun & Moon here..... My 48 hr breed turned out to be my second Rainbow. Still decent, but I really wanted a Moon Fire & Storm, Crystal & Blue Fire are just not working for me. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks! Also, I got my moon by doing fire storm, but apparently there's a low chance you can get moon by just doing cold lightning. Personally I wouldn't do it, but that's the only ones I know
