Are you breeding a regular fire and storm or a bluey and storm? I keep doing the bluey and storm to try for the moon. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
Anyone still busy with the gene theory for rainbow ? I had the idea of giving it a shot and i have now a 10x 4 scorch and 10x 4 seaweed

I'm trying regular fire and storm for a Sun. Just got a second blue fire from this combo, for those of you still looking for a Bluey. Out of gems, grrr, so havta wait out the 12. I got my Moon with Blue Fire x Storm. Btw, all level 10's
Ok....I just took a brand new storm and upped it to 9 (ran out of food) and took my newer regular fire and put them together. Got 48 hours!!! Although it's now 1:30 pm and based on the time I'm guessing a rainbow or another sun. I totally didn't think I'd get anything except another storm (again) so I am in a bit of shock. It's too bad it's most likely not the moon I need but gives me a nudge that it works. So random. Most of my luck does come from "newer" dragons it seems. Now the 48 hour wait..... I so wish we could gift out our eggs....
Grats! I hope it's at least a Moon. I'm not convinced yet that Sun/Moon are dependent on the time of day. I've started changing out my older dragons for newbies too. I figure it can't hurt.
Thank you! Yes...for some odd reason I get better results that way. Worked with the sun and bluey (not intentional at the time). So I just tried it again today. I don't know if it's the whole "gene" theory thing (which I have no patience for ) or just the newer dragon luck thing. Haha. I'm crossing my fingers for the moon so I hope you're right about the time issue too. If it is a second sun or rainbow means I'll have to delete a habitat to add one. Which kind of stinks a bit. I read on one of the other threads from the developer that they are working on update to possibly level 25 and an "epic breeding island". Anyone hear of this? That would be the boost us level 20 people need.....
Woke up at 3am Aussie time for no reason (probably stress). Went to the lounge room fired up the game and just for the hell of it bred my Original fire with new Storm. Both lvl 10. Got moon egg. From now on I'll do all my breeding in the lounge room. Dragon breeding, I mean. Hey, it's as good a theory as any, right?
Lol, that's hilarious! Yup, good as any. Personally, my 3am breeding (ahem, dragon) has been in bed, so far. And I guess that puts to rest the AM/PM thing for Sun/Moon.
Got 2 Moon Dragons off of Fire (left) + Storm (right) both Level 10's, and I just got another 48 hour breeding time with only 1 failure in between. Hoping it's a Sun Dragon. Also got my rainbow with Seaweed (left) + Firefly (right) both level 10's. Keep at it.
Thanks for the report- I haven't tried for a Rainbow in weeks. I'll give that combo a whirl - right after the Bluey x Storm clear out of the cave (3 hrs must be ffly or scorch). Then back to plain Fire x Storm - seems to be the best for Sun/Moon. No? Also wondering- I saw an egg in someone elses's hatchery that was cream colored with cracks- know which dragon that could be?
It was on this forum while I was looking up sonething about if you need game center for dragonvale (so my daughter could play on the touch). Just search dragonvale and the developers are actually responding on there a bit as far as I could see. Last one was a week or so ago.
This is the egg in question, I noticed it earlier, don't remember seeing it before.. Anyone have any idea what that egg is? Also, very nice hatchery there Karan
I thought the bone dragon egg was the same as the lava? Or did this change after the last update? I was getting quite excited when I thought it was a new dragon!!!
2 more failed attempts at Moon today and both were Blue Fire, couldn't get that thing when I wanted it lol... I also thought bone dragon was the same as Lava?
