Dragonvale I get a 48h time when I breed cryctal and storm, the idea is to try averytime storm in your breeding
Yeah. IMO Rainbow has the best little boogie. Hey everyone thanks for the Sunny ideas- currently workin the fire/storm combo. So far the 3 hour fails are quite tolerable.
Finally! A 48 hr breed time! I've been trying to breed a Sun or Moon dragon for it seems like forever. Even have broken down and bought gems to speed up the breed/hatch cycles. Tried different combos around 11 am yesterday. No luck. Tried 2 times around 6 pm EST with Lightening and Blue Fire as others have suggested. Just got another Scorch and a Storm egg. Used up almost all my gems. Was going to give up and then got an alert just before midnight that my dragons were done breeding. Thought, oh well, one more shot. So bred the Crystal and Blue Fire pair I've tried so many other times at 12:15 am EST and It's a 48 hr breed time!!!!! I am so excited and in such a state of disbelief that I have checked the time about 4 times. This game certainly teaches the virtues of perserverance and patience! Thanks for reporting back on Backflip's response, Dustmopz. It's good to know we have more to look forward to. I worked so much at decorating my islands that I don't want to sell off things to make way for new habitats. I really hope there are more islands coming. I still haven't heard back from them on the email I sent a couple days ago. It's fun to see how the number of players keep increasing in Game Center. Over 2 million now. I'm really happy for Backflip. It must be very satisfying for them to see how quickly this game has taken off. GC Id: Alyjens
I'm getting a little frustrated trying to get the Moon, I work nightshift so kinda thought I'd get that before Sun lol...
And when you speed up, it comes up with a number of gems to use, and + and - buttons to change how much to use!

i thought the same this morning would be nice to breed dragons you allready have again for coins (like Pocket Frogs)
I just bred a lvl 10 flower dragon and a lvl 10 storm dragon. Incubating time was 48 hours, I was very excited to FINALLY get my rainbow dragon!! Turns out though I bred the Sun dragon!!! Just as cool imo! Now I'm back to trying to get my rainbow! I haven't seen that combo listed anywhere for the sun dragon so I thought I'd share!
Jazbodooley FINALLY!!!! Just bred a level 10 fire and storm and got my moon!! I was very impatient and used 48 precious gems to speed up the breeding coz I wanted to make sure it was definitely the moon. It was! I can now wait 48 hours for it to hatch. Just need the sandstorm - tried so many times for this elusive creature!!
Congrats! I'm right there with you on the sandstorm. Still trying to get it. I'm pretty sure there's three combos that are best. Quake/air mud/air and fog/earth. All three have 6, 8 or 2 hour breeding times, and selling when it's 8 hours gets a million each time. So far I've been doing mud/air with no luck. I'm slowly starting to get that point where it just becomes too slow and monotonous, with successes becoming few and far between. Anyway, good luck to all of you out there trying to get those hard to get dragons!
Congrats! What time did you breed it GMT? I'm still trying to get that but all fails so far, been quite patient so far, but it's wearing thin lol..
It was about 9.00 last night, kids had just gone to bed and they heard me scream with excitement and came to see what all the fuss was about! Think I'm more of a kid than they are! Also, was on a bit of a high so decided to have a few more attempts at the sandstorm, and got that as well! I now have every dragon! What to do now though??? Need another island, more dragons and higher levels!!
I got the sandstorm last night, 3 attempts with air and mud (in that order). Got 2 fogs and then 3rd time lucky!! I have all dragons now . Good luck getting your remaining dragons!
Grats Jazbo! Still working on breeding for the Sunny with Fire x Storm ...just got a second Bluey! Kinda pleased about that. I'll sell one of my 4 Stormys to make room. Thanks to the faithful friends sending gems! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Oh and still seeking a Rainbow.
