me too i got scorch on the 7 try and i tried seweed with firefly to get a rainbow but i got 5 scorch on all the tries..except for the 14 try thats when i got my rainbow

got 48 hr breeding time! Tried one last combo before bed last nite...Level 10 Seaweed with a 'newly hatched' Level 9+ Storm and BINGO!.... sooo excited I had troubles falling asleep and then dreamed of the outcome. I either need a new hobby or a more exciting life! I wonder what it will be? It was before midnight central time in Canada. I am not sure if it is the fact that my storm was new and never bred before or if the dev's are listening or if this is a magic pairing...haven't tried this one before and can't recall any other postings on this thread using this combo. I was sooo close to giving up! If you are frustrated and have tried everything for moon, sun and rainbow...level up one of your spare storms! BTW the seaweed is old...and I had a hard time getting it way back when... Gotta get ready for work! schnizler
Don't think backflip will change the randomness of breeding That's like someone asking the casino to change the odds of pokies so it's "more fair" That's just the name of the game, some get lucky, others don't It'd be boring as hell if the odds were changed, or if everyone had equal chance! What if everyone had equal chance at winning the lotto? The lotto wins would be small, like 1c each! And it'd become useless
YES! I read the reasons too, lol. Since complaining sometimes brings results, here goes: I can't get a Sunny-- waaah! Been throwing Bluey x Storm, and Storm x Mud in the cave, non-stop. Any other good combos? Trying the 'AM' (time of day) idea too. >sigh< Still need Rainbow but have pretty much given up hope for it.
Jazbodooley I was so thrilled to get my rainbow and sun I think I should be happy with those, but I really want that moon! Almost getting fed up trying now. Thanks for the gems by the way!

The gene theory concept sounds interesting and a definite contender for success. But I know if I start it to try to get a moon dragon I'll just go more insane.
I used lv 10 fire with lv 10 storm, at 1045 gmt I got a rainbow, at 2205 gmt I got a moon, and at 0730 gmt I have a Sun which will be ready in the morning! Yay! I used this combo for all of them, and only had a few failed attempts. Good luck, I have my fingers crossed for you!
My 48 hour breeding turned out to be a moon dragon. Now to work on the sun dragon. I heard back from Backflip when I wrote them asking for more challenges (maybe another island or habitats). They replied saying they working hard to create new content for players to enjoy and to keep any eye out for app updates. This is good news.
Just finished the breeding and it turned out to be a moon egg. So I guess fire/strom combo can yield all the rare dragons except sandstorm.
