Dragonvale: Strategies/Tips (NOT an add me thread)

I had to boost my breeding dragons to level 17 to get both my Aquamarines

 

Already done that a couple of weeks ago

Have you tried renaming your breeding pair? Maybe with Lucky Charm names then do the happy dragon dance

yup, I already filled all 25 spots... grrrr I wish it was more

 

I almost have. Again disappointed no island. Not much of an update and I love DV I do not understand.We need another island.

 

Well we got 1/3 of the things we desperately need. Cap increase and island are more important imo. I'm guessing there's a dragon hidden in this update.

Also wtf, I got both springs AND the egg and a new goal pops up to get a spring, jeeze now I gotta waste time breeding another one just to sell it.

 

I'm just gonna go for another aqua before its gone to get the goal for it. Sooo many new goals...

I'm not gonna touch the ones that reward xp until the cap increase comes.

 

I have the spring goal already too. Not happy with them right now.

 

Yikes! Me too. Surprised to see it's only 5 slots to start.. that's nothin'.
At first I thought this was a significant update, but not really. And it's about time they added new goals... I'd forgotten it was even there. Wish the visitor icon would go away or have some reason to be there besides take up space. ...

EDIT: Thank goodness there's no goal for acquiring Kairos - I never want to go thru that again!

 

I agree about the goals. Why wait until now (with less than a week left in March) put up a goal to get an Aquamarine? I already have most of the dragons the goals are for...so I guess I'll just be breeding whenever I have down time to finish the goals....at least the ones with gems as rewards.

 

Looks like the forum ate my post, so let's try this again:

I didn't intend to spend any $$ on this, but I had a little extra from an iTunes gift card (and a little extra eagerness/impatience), so I went ahead and got the smallest amount which enabled me to build my Epic Breeding Island! I'm super excited, especially with all the new goals. (Though I wish some had been there a few weeks ago..)

Motley Dragon

I have a current featured goal to breed a "Motley" dragon. Anyone else have this goal or heard anything about this dragon?

 

I have it but can not get my dragons to even see much less breed.It says there is an internal error.

 

I keep getting a similar internal error every time I try to open the eggs/dragon area in the market.

Same issue here with the "Motley Dragon." Nothing is showing up on the wiki page, and people are reporting this issue on the Facebook page.

 

Looks like they've removed the Mötley dragon goal...and the market is now functional. Guess we know a new dragon will be coming soon

 

My guess is it's an April Fools limited dragon. Hopefully we get more time to breed than between now (assuming it comes out today) and April 1 or 2.
