Dragonvale: Strategies/Tips (NOT an add me thread)

I'm really, really sorry to hear that some of you didn't even get one Celtic.
Three days is too short, as Girlpower says a trick to make people spend gems?

I noticed that they've fixed the Air staue's tail now. I know, I am a bit slow.

 

Announced on Facebook: Sakura will be returning to Dragonvale in a few hours and will be available for 21 days.

 

What was wrong with the tail? I'm a bit slow too, . And I just saw the Sakura decoration - a cherry blossom bonsai - I love it! Just saw the clover knot tree too - yup I'm really slow! I often forget to look at the decs.

I feel bad for everyone who missed out on one or two Celtics! Yeah that was quite a panic breeding session. I suppose it will be back in a year... If you have it in you to keep playing for another year?!

 

Today is the first day of spring! I want my spring colors now on Seasonal
...going to start my spring cleaning by redecorating with the new bonsai trees

And I noticed they finally fixed the page numbering on the forum here

 

Oh yay! That page error was annoying. Good noticing.

Seasons change. So does the Seasonal Dragon. Those of you lucky enough to have a Seasonal Dragon will see it magically transform to it's Spring form today. It's Springtime in DragonVale. Hooray!

Also, keep your eyes peeled for an entirely new Epic dragon later today.

 

New Spring Dragon here. Lives in the Seasonal Habitat alongside the Seasonal Dragon. Speaking of which, the Seasonal has changed for spring as well.

 

Cold lightning plant fire

I'm going with storm flower until more stable combos are posted

 

Got one with Storm/Flower. Took around 13 tries. Most fails were Poison and Flower (30 mins and 1 hr) which makes it very tempting to use gems so you can keep breeding. A couple were 3 hr fails and one was something like 6 hrs. I went through 16 gems and a Kairos.

 

Sandbox now says cold, lightning and fire. No plant required. Suggested combo is now Firefly/Storm.

 

Thanks for letting us know the change. First try with flower/storm on the island was a 48 hr and in the cave a 5 hr. Will change to Firefly/Storm and see what happens.

 

Ouch. At least Firefly/Storm take Rainbow out of the equation. Sun and Moon are still in play though.

 

i got mine (spring) by using hail and firefly... second try on EBI

 

Well....the paging has gone all funky-wonk again.

And I got moon sun fails right off the bat

Scorch can be a stand-in for Firefly. Hail for Storm. So Scorch/Hail , Firefly/Hail , Scorch/Storm , are other possible combos in case you get bored with Firefly/Storm. No luck for me yet.

I wish this there was a Seasonal fail in there, I still need a second. Can't get a first Cyclops either - I've had the habitat waiting for like forever. Guess I jinxed it by building too early. Maybe if I sell it?

 

Spring is in the air

Got my first Spring dragon breeding on my island with Storm and Love. Yippee!

 

First spring woooot, firefly/storm

 

First 48 hr fail shoooot, flower/storm.

 

Verrrry nice! Storm/Love - I'll have to give that a go. Grats to everyone else having early spring success. Spring has yet to rear it's head up here in frozen MN!
