I am back from vacation! Got a cellphone text from a fellow DV friend telling me of the new Cyborg when I docked in Oahu ....so I took a few hours in a coffee shop to get my Cyborgs...went thru a lot of gems to get them, but I was saving them for such an occasion. So my fellow DV friends, I owe a lot of gem gifting ...it was a long 2 weeks aboard ship with no Dragonvale!

Is anyone else having horrible crash and lag issues with the game after this update?? My game crashed my phone after getting spammed with false push notifications. Also getting internal errors all the time as well.
No but I had issues updating through the App Store. I updated five or six apps at the same time. All went fine but DV which just froze with the status bar on the icon about half way and the word Waiting underneath. I ended up having to sync it to iTunes on my PC to get it to update. After that I was able to play just fine (in fact immediately got Amy number two.)
Lag hasn't been too bad, but I have been crashing a lot since the update. I'm running on a 64 iPad 2...so space isn't the issue. The crashes are more of an annoyance. Haven't lost anything, just have to keep re-logging in the app
No normal crashes for me on my end as of yet while playing on an IPod Touch. But I did notice my gem gifting ability coming back. Game has not crashed on me as often when I go to the friend's list. Also got a notification that Panlong is going away on February 10, which is Chinese New Year. Snake-like dragon coming up?

I'm ruining atm on a 64 iPhone 5 so yea it is getting really annoying. (Damn I wish it had wide support ) And I am having no luck getting a Amethyst >> got a sun which I was missing though XD
Like you, I am having no luck with Amythyst either. Got a sun or moon cooking which I have plenty of....
I have been missing sun and moon now only missing moon. I really only got back into the game a few weeks ago (after not playing for 5 or so mths) so I've missed out on a bit.... Should be able to trade dragons that would be awesome...
Crashes I had been getting loads of crashes and internal errors after the last update, but this week I found other games were crashing too, not just dragonvale. I rebooted the iPhone and haven't had any problems since. Just hold down the lock button until you get the swipe to shutdown message, and then once it's off, hold it down again to power back on.
Hatched my first Amethyst and I agree it's the least attractive or interesting of all the Gems. Too bad. Seems like the design was barely thought about. I don't usually complain about designs but the Gems are kind of a big deal. Here's hoping for an Amethyst redesign next year, or even this month!
