Oops, I didn't read this post before replying to your other one....that's the spirit, but it does feel good to just get it out doesn't it, and nice to have some support from those who understand....hey you only have two dragons to get now, but wow you have been playing that long? I've been playing since early Sept when the update came to Oz....well you certainly deserve to get these two dragons as a rewards for your diligence
Well done to you no need to feel bad, but very thoughtful to acknowledge others not so lucky, ahh the "randomness" of the game.... 48 hr timer will either be a sun/moon or maybe a rainbow...rest assured with that timer and combo it's more likely to be a sun or moon....definitely won't be a stubborn storm dragon Out of desperation, I have just tried this combo myself, 5 hr fail, but only my first try so far..... May have a break from fire/storm for a bit....this combo served me very well with two back to back Blue Fires, this may help you if you need a “Bluey" Do you recall the order you bred them eg...was it cold/lightning or lightning/cold...just curious thanks
Oh, wish I could have gifted you one of my Blueys I think I might email backflip and just mention there's a growing number of us starting to really feel disheartened after weeks of back to back breeding failures. Maybe if we were to direct our concerns to them and they got enough people emailing, they may make the necessary changes. They have responded back to previous enquiries, so are good in that respect PS just visited you....I see you are putting Bluey to good use already hehe. Wow, you must of had quiet a nice gem kitty anyway
I finally have a 12hr for a blue fire. I bred fire and storm which it took awhile to get. I finally have both sandstorm and soon to have blue fire. I don't have any rainbow/sun/moon, I haven't even started on the newer ones but I feel the same way about the random %. I must have bred well over 100 times with seaweed and firefly with failed attempts. And yet others just get it the first time, but I guess this game is a gamble. I don't mind it really because the decorating is a great passing time. I am looking forward for maybe a Christmas dragon and the decorations. After the halloween, I noticed they took out the pumpkin and witch hut on the list. I have them on my island tho. I have a small guess that the christmas dragon might be plant/snow. I'm hoping this game will add 2 more habitats so we can at least have 2 of each. 20/20 instead of 18.
I've been playing about 3 months now (or a bit more) @girlpower. Been level 20 for quite a while and managed to get all the dragons (even bone) except for the two. Spent 5 bucks since I started although the temptation to buy a bluey is there. I keep restraining myself. I spent 2 plus the first few weeks to upgrade the nursery and then three days ago another 2 to see what the darn 48 hour egg was. I just didnt want to see a rainbow egg (I know that sounds crazy for those chasing the rainbow and I totally understand). I may fold in a week or so and I'm sure then I'll get the bluey by breeding with my luck. Ha. I think an email is a great idea. The game shouldn't be simple as pie, however, it is getting a tad taxing at this point. I've been doing fire/storm and now ice/fire and no luck. My poor phone if it went the route of death by dragonvale angst.
Ohhh... You have been playing for quiet some time alright. So sorry you are not having any luck with ice/fire either. Hmm. I have a second spare Bluey that has your name written all over it, if only I could gift it to you I am still just keeping them in my nursery for now, kind of wondering if an update may come out that allows us to gift spares....I would much rather gift it to one of my GC friends who I knew had been trying hard to get theirs, as opposed to just selling it with the knowledge of also knowing how long it took to get my second one. If you want another GC friend let me know your GC name (can pm if you prefer) can't promise much in the way of gems though..but when I email BS, I will mention gifting dragons to friends would be a really nice touch if they can't tone down the random factor a little....actually while we area all just sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for breeding failures to finish, wouldn't it be neat if we had the option of helping out a friend by breeding them something.....bring on a second breeding cave.
Just for the hell of it bred my two Bone Dragons and got a third bone. So they are still "breedable". If devs decide to integrate dragon gifting I might go into "business" of breeding Bone Dragons for those who missed out. I wanted to mention something. This thread has a lot of one time posters. People open accounts to make one post never to be heard from again. I find this to be a bit suspect... May be I am just paranoid, but may be there is something to it. I ve been a memeber of this forum for a while so, .... Anyway, tried a heap of cold/lightnings with no result. Got 5mil and bought a dragon statue. Like I mentioned to girlpower before, I wish I could buy those green trees that we destroy for xp.
this evening i will be playing for 3 weeks level 19 miss 4 dragons (rainbow, sun, moon, bone) all dragons are level 10 i own moon, sun, rainbow habitats i own a fire statue and a volcano spend 2 x 1,59 Euro i play with 3 accounts since last weekend (the others are at level 10+12) because of frustration of the unfairness and randomness i started playing pocket frogs yesterday
I swear I almost had a -small- heart attack when you said new dragons thinking a turkey dragon had arrived. I was like OMFG not another one to slave over. Kidding, of course (no, not really).

"New" sticker in the market That must be the "new" ones .. or else I'm missing an update. Speaking of updates: with the last update there was supposed to be a "new" sticker in the market which I took to mean that every new dragon (or item) would have this "new" label to identify "new" stuff. Am I wrong? And did anyone notice the path bricks were changed along the way? They are less grassy and more sharply defined but ...I miss the old look. I think I've sold more Scorches than anything but Storms are starting to get up there.
hey there guys! I've been following all of your posts for quite some time. So I finally made an account to ask questions and share my own experiences. I have all dragons except moon, sun, rainbow, and bone. blue fire I got from fire & storm, and sandstorm I got from air & mud (in those orders) lvl 10. I'm currently pursuing rainbow but have a question about the whole "genes" thing I read on wikia.dragonvale. has anyone tried it?
I can't be completely sureeeeee, but I think it was cold/lightning. I'm still waitingggg for them to finish breeding!!!! The weird thing about it was that I had a higher level lightning dragon I could've used for breeding, but I deliberately chose the lower level dragon because i wanted to higher level one to keep making money lol. Oh plus it was 5 am ish in the morning, cuz I guess getting ready for school. So I guess you could say it was overnight? Though i don't know if that makes any difference
I think I got it!!!! Haha! I bought a new fire egg and made it level 10 plus took a brand new baby storm and made it level 10. Put them together just now and got a 12 hour wait! It better be a bluey. If it is I'll do the happy dance tomorrow after all this anxiety.

Oh me oh my....yippee yay yay I am not waiting for tomorrow to do your happy dance mate, I am doing it right now It HAS to be a Bluey, and once it's finished breeding, if you want a third for any reason, breed the same two back to back and see if you get another 12 hr timer like I did.....haha you could also end up with 4 of me like me. This is the nicest news, and sooo deserved PS. Correction....oops, in my delirious state, I got a bit ahead of myself there, I should have said if you want a SECOND Bluey, try breeding the same two back to back again
