I just contacted Backflip support about the internal error. Maybe you should send them an email about it too.
DV doesn't seem to be loading for me. GC will connect, but for whatever reasons, the green loading bar just won't appear. I'm on the iPhone 4S on the latest iOS. I've tried restarting my device, restarting the app, and connecting to multiple networks. Nothing seems to be working.
Has anyone noticed that there have been 6 total limited time dragons available during November? A bit excessive if you ask me. Leaves me no time to get all the other regular dragons I need.
I like this idea. They did release a new limited (Ghost) and I bet they release a new Christmas/Holiday to go along with the re-release of the Reindeer. So maybe their plan is to just re-release holiday dragons followed by a new one. I like your idea though to make the new limited require the old one.
Reindeer dragon out. Got my first on 2nd try with Evergreen/Flower. The other combination is Plant/Lichen.
Lunar eclipse looks pathetic... half the dragons in the game dont look like dragons at all. Oh well, working on getting all the eggs sincle all the limiteds have been collected. We need a decorations storage like the hibernation cave... New island pleeeeease... Ill pay 250mil jeeeze get the show on the road Id like kairos to be able to convert the sky/clouds into space/stars then open a blackhole to an alternate universe with bizarro versions of the original dragons/habitats ooooo
+1 Pretty much sums up my wishes and gripes. BFS can solve so many problems by having some of the islands at another location. That way you can have more islands/habitats without a significant slowdown in performance. Decoration storage is a great idea because my islands are starting to look like a junk yard with limited decorations everywhere. I would like at least 2 new islands. Don't even need new habitats, just more space to put things that we already have.
I've noticed a significant increase in lag since the last update (on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6) cos I can't even fully open it on my iPad now......at this rate those with oldish devices wont be able to continue playing.....there's only so many refreshes, reboots one can do before it's throw in the towel time
I'm running it on an iPod Touch 4th Generation with IOS 6, and it seems the lags get worse with each update. I have to reopen/reboot my iPod numerous times now to gift and I haven't been able to visit for months now. Since the last update, the game shuts down sometimes when I visit the market. They recently released it in the Amazon App Store, and I started a new game on my 1st Edition Kindle Fire...no lags or game shut downs on that yet.
Yes, annoying. I think players would appreciate playable game more than an endless stream of mediocre dragons.
Allanon, great idea. I can imagine DragonVale under the night sky with only the moon, stars and lampposts to illuminate the islands. Time for a different atmosphere. Christmas list (wishes): 1. We need park benches for the visitors. 2. Let us decide how big or small the dragons end up when using the Fountain of Youth. Easy to do if we're able to pull the dragons out at any time. 3. Three-finger touch to switch the on-screen icons on/off. We don't need the on-screen icons 24/7. Result: More real estate and unobstructed views! That's all I can think of, for now. Feel free to add your own list.
Lots of good ideas, guys, you all could be game developers. Especially like the portal to another universe, that would expand the game immensely. Storage for decorations has been needed all along. I don't buy it all anymore, and might as well sell off most since they reissue the same stuff in a year - for the next season or holiday. Finally have 2 Lunar Eclipse brewing. It HAS been a crazy streak of limiteds this month. And most (all?) require long breed times. Appeal: what did you breed for a Seasonal? I keep trying Air/Flower to no avail.
Finally got my Lunar Eclipse ....had to use almost 200 gems to speed along the fails ...but it did pay off in the end
New update out. Mentions something about a possible "Holiday Surprise". New holiday icon too. Hopefully it fixes everyone's crashing problems too.
Don't know about anyone else but my game is fine after the update. Checked out everything but sending gifts (did that this morining).
No new glitches with the update, but it didn't fix the problems I have either which, judging from the Facebook responses, a lot of people have as well.
Just hatched my first Lunar Eclipse. Whoa. I see what you mean. That one went right in the chibbi-izer to de-chubby him.
