I haven't been able to do races for a while because my iPod keeps crashing. I guess it will take me a long time to get Kairos.
Cool! I've currently got that combo in EBI, so in waiting mode. Hopin for the same because I have 2 Golds already. Does anyone remember what they used for Seasonal? I need a second, but don't remember what I bred! Air/Flower isn't working for me. And a little gripe - I really hate how long it takes to just load/open the game. Yes I'm generally impatient.
Backflip Server problems??? seems OK now Hi Friends, hope everyone is high and dry - and prayers to those in the US northeast states dealing with aftermath of Sandy's rain, wind, snow during the next days. Friends all disappeared a little while ago from DV - no idea if it's a Backflip server issue or something else. Gamecenter seems to be OK and the game loads as usual. If anyone sees any other Backflip news on Facebook or elsewhere please share. Their new game Gizmonauts is also affected - I have been enjoying it for the past several days. Many from here are doing well with leveling up their robots - it's similar to DV but has some new interactivity (you can help reduce breeding and new habitat building timers once per day by visiting friends and clicking on the timer icons) also a Battle Arena is available at Level 10 that can be played every two hours (you choose two of your Bots to fight against two computer bots and if yours win you receive coins, XP, food and sometimes a bot "gizmo" that can be used to customize the look of your bots). I thinks it's a personal preference if someone likes the space/robot look, the creative/customization and island building is good, there is a special limited Halloween bot, Franken Bot and some Halloween decorations. Looking forward to the November Gem dragon, Topaz? Any guesses? Forge and something else to make Orange Topaz??
I am not having problems with friends.I am looking forward to November also.The only thing I have seen from DV on Facebook is what are you guys going to dress up like form DV for Halloween.
Apple had a few problems for a couple of hours today. Game Center as well as iMessage and a few other services were affected.
My Silver/Gold breeding turned out to be another Gold. Was hoping for Silver but since we're on the brink of November I'll have to wait for a better time.
So that's what happened. I couldn't iMessage for a few hours. And I noticed some incorrect GC scores. Hurricane related?

Decided to use Kairos form the first time, so set up two long breedings, set him off, then ran out of patience while he was flying around for ages so called him back -result breedings not accelerated Give him time to do his thing everyone! Still I don't know the combination for the topaz yet so not too bad Good luck everyone with the Topaz hunt
When you use him, the effect is instant. As soon as you press activate, 6 hours will be taken off the timers, habitats will have 6 hours worth of coins etc. The call button is just to make him go to his perch when he's flying around.
That elusive Gold Olympus. Been breeding for the last 1 1/2 - 2 weeks steadily and have gotten the dodo's I've needed and 2 each ad bronze and silver Olympus but no Golds yet. Was hoping to get all three before the new gem dragon pops up but it doesn't look like that's happening.
Is it me, or does it seem like the Olympus dragons were easier to get when they were first released? I managed to get two Bronze, two Silver and one Gold within the first couple of weeks they were out. Now I only work on my second Gold when I have down time like now. But it seems I almost always get a Crystal fail which is such a killer. I've been pretty focused on getting one for the last week but I haven't had that many attempts because of the Crystals.
Happy November Happy November everyone - I like the Topaz and its Crystal. I took a stab in the dark and tried Storm and Scorch, thinking it might be Storm for blue color and Scorch or Firefly for the Orange (red and yellow mix) and was happy to see a big timer but bummed when I saw 39 gems (1:14:and some minutes) 1 day and 14 hours, I forgot how long the Sun/Moon wait was because I bred them so long ago it seems. I hope it's not this combination, have plenty Sun/Moon already. Good luck everyone!
Topaz trials This one is going to be tricky - trying Flower and Obsidian because of the color combination and then lookin at Scorch/Flower with one of the Cold/Water combinations. Reading that it may not contain Metal, Water, or Air because of avail at level 11 but I am not sure and it might be a curveball from Backflip. I think the parents will be Blue and Orange because of its combination and various colors found in Topaz in nature. Any other ideas?
