They use to tell us before it left the market not anymore but this is strange they never posted it on Facebook they always do that to let everyone know it will be gone. I am sorry he did not get his. I wish we could give people dragons they can not get.
Tops on my wish list for the next update: the ability to upgrade to an Enchanted Nursery. I'm the first to admit that I thought the 20% reduction in breeding time was not enough to make the upgrade to the cave and island worth it even after they reduced the price (I think I posted here that it should be more like 50%.) However, I've gotten spoiled with the shorter breeding times (especially with the Epic Dragons) and can't stand waiting the full time for the egg to incubate in the nursery. Not to mention the nursery is now more likely to become a bottleneck which can get annoying.
Although I do appreciate the 20% decrease in breeding times, I should add that I still think for what they charge to upgrade the island and cave the decrease in breeding time should be more than 20%.
I got my wish, my first seasonal egg is in the nursery! YAY Love jtfields idea of an upgraded nursery, it does become a bottleneck some days.
Offline for last couple of days so looks like I missed the Equinox. At least I hatched a Seasonal. Now on to October gem.
Congrats! I still need Seasonal#2. Think I'll try Paper/Chrome when there's an open cave. I don't have a Silver yet, what worked for you guys? I've tried lots of Steel/Plant. My second go with Blue Moon/Equinox gave me a Blue Moon. Now I'm good with a pair of each and goin for display eggs. A little late, but Congrats Andy! on the gold shrine and your first level 20!

@Foxtail2010 Good luck on getting Silver. I'm having a tough time getting the Panlong Dragon . Somewhat excited on the new October dragons. Also hoping they increase the habitat limit on the high level players
There is a September birthstone dragon that will only be available until the end of September, so if you don't have it, you have less than two days to get it. the combo is Mountain/Rain. I'm not sure about the top earners right now, but I think it is still three level fifteen Panlongs. Good luck!

Combo for Rain is Fog/Mud. There is a site called Dragonvale Breeding Sandbox that you can use to find combos.
