Right there with you, all my mates have got sandstorm, rainbow blue fire etc. At least I can rub in their face that I've got a moon dragon! I also took pictures at every stage of growth! I think though, they need to make it more like the rainbow ie. it flies around the island, nit confined to it's habitat.
I finally gave up on breeding a Blue Fire and bought it with the gems I've earned in the Colosseum and been gifted. Now I still need Rainbow, Sun and Moon. Are all three of these possible from a Blue Fire/Crystal breeding?
for all of you hardcore breeders: if you have multiple apple IDs / gamecenter accounts in your family - you can logout and login with your second account and start dragonvale again at level 1 and also send you a gift to your first account i play Dragonvale now at level 18 and level 10 so i can better stand these long breeding / incubating waiting times
Moon dragon! Wow! Moon dragon is HUGE at lv 10! It walks around the moon, and breaths little stary things. Visit me if you want to see it; I tried to post a picture but I cant figure out how to do it on my iPod. Dando1998 is my gc as well. Woooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!
Download the Photobucket app which will upload and host images from your iPod/iPhone and give you the links for forums. I just got the "Every last one" achievement when I hatched Blue Fire, even though I don't have the Moon yet. Not complaining though lol
Hurray! I got a sun dragon egg today! I bred fire with storm, both level 10! It's probably the best method, because u usually get only 3-5 hours on failed attempts. If you want you guys can see it- GC: bonepart- I stupidly used 48 gems to skip breeding, but I'll just wait 2 days for it
Hey Bonepart, congrats Just curious, can you recall how many goes it took before you were successful? I am back to this combo AGAIN for the 3rd time, had breaks in between with Crystal/Blue Fire but too wary to keep with these too because of the potential long wait times. So far I am on my 3rd attempt (early days) and all have been 5hr storm eggs, am going to try and stick this out... Not sure if I will say that still once I hit around the 40 no go mark...but one day at a time.
Oh come on.....its not going to take you 40 tries to get it....youll get it soon...youll see! Just keep trying! What this game needs is a way to gift dragons! Then people who have a lot of luck can help us get those elusive beasts.
wouldn't be so sure. Ive done at least 40 breeding attempts and still don't have blue fire (or sun, but i was aiming for the bluey)
Grats! My 48 hour wait turned into a moon egg today. Quite cute. Can't wait to see the lil guy/girl. I bred blue fire x storm fewer than 10 tries, all of the fails were 3 or 5 hour waits. Since then been workin on Sun using either storm x mud or fire x storm.
Oooh fire with blue fire and a 12 hour clock, possible second on the way Nevermind, it was a cold lOl...

Think I've got a 3rd Blue Fire on the way Wow, here I am still trying for sun/moon using my lvl 10 Fire/Storm combo Back to back like I said I was going to. My failed attempts so far 1st, 2nd & 3rd = (5hrs) Storm 4th = (3hrs) either firefly or scorch ( not sure yet) 5th = (12hrs) possibly Bluey, not sure yet If so, how ironic considering I just got my 2nd one after weeks of trying Yeah, I agree that it would be cool if we could gift dragons we don't need/want to our GC friends
