Gem Glitch fixed? The current update with the IOS 6 solved the gifting problem for me. And I saw that some people that updated their IOS have also been able to gift again on DV's facebook page... Maybe it might also work for some of us here too? Anyway, now I can start gifting back to everyone! Yay! Thanks to everyone for gifting me even though the know I cannot send one back. I can continue with my list again!
The IOS 6 upgrade did not fix my gifting problem. I still have to reboot my iPod when I want to gift or the game shuts down. I also still can't visit anyone. I know they are working on it.
That's great! I don't have a Paper yet. So many moss fails. Right now,I have a 9hr35min dragon breeding, so I'll see what it is.
Another new dragon Oh nice one BS....I've got less than 24 hrs to get this latest dragon or I miss out. No pressure or anything..... Haven't been able to get a second paper dragon, I sure have tried hard as time has pretty much run out for me, now this happens....well that feels better I've got that out, I realize DV doesn't revolve around my plans...(why not) LOL. I've been speeding up blazing/rain combos and going through gems like lollies, after 6 fails in one cave, I got one....still no go in the other cave and also have 6 sped up fails there....I will give it my best shot....thank goodness for hoarded gems huh....never needed them as much as I do right now STILL no new habitats....I'm kind of over it to be honest...I really don't know what they are thinking there at DV these days....really wish they would concentrate on fixing the terrible lag and friends visiting issues first. I've updated my iPhone to iOS 6 but there's nothing for my iPad? (I don't have the wifi one) Really hoped this would also be available now too and it would help with my DV and singing monsters crash issues. I won't be able to gift gems back for another 9 days now GC friends, so maybe don't send me any cos I won't know who I owe them back to (after 4 gems). Congrats to everyone with Paper and Equinox (already!?)! I finally have my first 9:36 timer (Sakura/Cold15's) but not holding my breath. Equinox does look like a cool dragon, like the decoration too. @GP- Have a good trip! I'm leaving for CA the day before you return... gone about 2 weeks. I know I won't have Internet some of that time so at this new dragon output rate, I'm pretty sure I'll miss one. Boohoo. This is the same destination as when I missed the LY. C'est la vie.

My only addition to your post is why all the new dragons if they don't give us new habitats and another island to display? I think I have an equinox cooking, but won't speed it up. Can't afford the gems right now. Did it with blazing 15 / water 15 in E cave. Unusual for me as I have only gotten the rares from the ebi. I am excited about the holiday months also as I started playing around thanksgiving last year. October is gonna wipe out my resources as I want the bone dragon, new decorations especially trees - scary looking ones and ice coated crystal ones - October gem dragon, new habitats and with any luck a new island. Fingers crossed to everyone working on their wish lists. kor

Ok time for my ritual chucking of toys out of the pram again! Still no paper, equinox, second sapphire, ironwood,silver, gold or silver Olympus!!!!!I have bred countless trees, fogs, and loads of other dragons that I do not need. Getting very frustrated and lagging further and further behind. This random breeding sucks! End of rant

Aww I'm trying to remember what combo turned into easy Ironwoods - or more frequent. I'll post it soon as I remember! ((This frequent new dragon breeding is straining my memory!)) Here's something exciting! Sandbox is reporting--- for those of us wanting a second Blue Moon or Solstice - breed one with Equinox (if you have one- I don't yet). Really annoyed So I am way behind on all the dragons, but not for lack of trying, I have been breeding nonstop full time, and am still missing paper, scoria, ironwood, plasma, silver and equinox! And I won't have any access to the game at all tomorrow, so I bought $5 worth of gems, which I have no issue doing considering how much time this game has given me, but I spent literally ALL of them on breeding, and still didnt get any of the above dragons. Now I'm $5 down and won't get the equinox, which pisses me off, as I have played since day 1 and haven't missed any limited dragons.
Yeah, I spoke too soon. It worked for me that day I updated to IOS 6. Got back today to try again and, what do you know, it shuts down on me again. (sigh)
I feel you there GP. Hopefully the wizards will send you a Paper and an Equinox before you leave. Then you can relax on your vacation No Equinox here yet either, trying Blazing/Water in both caves. I might try a combo for a second Quicksilver, but we will see. Sending lots of luck your way and to everyone with these dragons!!

It probably worked because the IOS 6 rebooted your device to install. Hopefully they will get it fixed eventually.
