New update Has anyone noticed the stone paths look different with the new update? Colour is lighter grey, and they are wider? Personally don't like the look, prefer the original which was more subtle

Foiled Again!!! Well, have been trying for 2 weeks for Sandstorm usually with Air/Mud. Tried to take a break to try for a Moon (nope) and then try again as others have suggested (nope). So then I thought instead of a Air 10 & Mud 10, maybe it's too much Mud for Air to transform to Sand? So I sold my level 10 Mud to make room to grow a new egg to level 4 and....... FOILED AGAIN!!!! I give up. Girl power, congrats on finally getting your Bluefire! Narakai- congrats on your Sun!!! Bonepart- Personally I don't agree on hacking gems, etc. I think it's cheating. It especially cheats the Devs who gave us this great FREE game. We should show our appreciation for all their time, effort & vision by occasionally throwing a little money their way. I don't think that $1.99 for 50 gems is unreasonable. Btw, I kinda like the new paths. GC: Alyjens
after i got my two crystal eggs yesterday i got my sandstorm today with my first try of air+mud (tried air+tree a few times before) this is what i achieved after 2 weeks and spending 3,18 Euro
My recent successes I know I'm always looking for successful pairings as I go through this thread, so I wanted to post mine. I finally got a rainbow after breeding a Sandstorm and a Blue Fire. It worked on the first try, but I tried it 5 or 6 times after and it didn't happen again (yet). I got my first Sun after about 15 Storm/Mud pairings (finally worked) and then supported the developer to speed it up . Strangely, I got the all dragon achievement after it hatched, despite not having the Moon dragon. Next up, the moon and then the grind for double rainbow! My GC is TimFTWin for those who would like to visit and see.
I don't think that glitch works, I tried it several times and no gems came back so I assume they didn't get them.
Congrats May have been the easiest way for you but I previously tried this combo quiet a few times with the same mindset.....all failed, so this just re confirms what works for one doesn't mean it works for someone else....all part of the challenge me thinks @ alyjens Thanks for the congrats....sounds like you and I are in the same boat with this Sandstorm, can't believe this thing can be so hard to breed for some of us.... @ apple-byte Oh you lucky thing, you got that darn Sandstorm! Well done. You really have done well with all your dragons considering you have only been playing such a short time and at level 17 too....you should be doing the happy dance
Yay! I have a moon dragon egg in my hatchery now! It will hatch tomorrow! I am soooooo happy! I got it before any of my friends from school did. I am now still trying to rainbow, sun, sandstorm and blue fire dragons. Any gems sent my way will be much appreciated as I am saving up for a blue fire dragon. Lazy I know, but I haven't got one from breeding yet and it's starting to tick me off. I've been using firefly/cold dragons to get moon and sun, and it's also possible to get blue fire from it, which in this case would be a happy by-product. When I start on rainbow I'm going to use lava or bone and seaweed or swamp, doesn't matter which ones I use. Good luck everyone!
I use a similar technique t get a second bone dragon. What did you get instead of another blue fire? I'm extremely curious.
I quite like it, especially since it stopped that ugly thick grass when you have kind of like a square shape, but even if that was just removed, it would still be good
Wish I could remember as it was a few weeks ago now and I didn't write these failures down....seemed like a really good idea at the time and funny you saying thats how you got your second bone cause you just reminded me that I also tried to get a second bone using my first, tried about 3-4 times but threw in the towel cause I couldn't get my first bone after approx 10 tries and ended up buying it just before Halloween so I didn't miss out.... Great news about your new moon dragon, I love that one, so cute. Gotta say, if that Sandstorm was 100 gems instead of 1000, I would be doing the same thing you are regarding Blue Fire and saving to buy it too. My 'first' Blue Fire was a breeze to get compared to this thing. Guess you have already been trying Fire/Storm combos for your Bluey?
Yeah, fire and storm over and over and over again! Not once was it a blue fire. I tried every combo everyone suggested and even ones that weren't suggested but had both types. I tell ya, I need 10 rabbits feet if I want a blue fire from breeding!
Yay, FINALLY my first 48 hour incubation time! Blue fire x Storm (lvl 10's) = Sun, Moon or Rainbow? Happy happy!!
why some of you try to get a second blue fire? i sell all the second ones - i own only the first of every kind
For me it was because its a really good coin earner, but that was back when I was lvl 18 and needed the coins.....then it turned into more of a challenge. I wasn't even trying for this second one (had put Bluey in the too hard basket), I was and still am trying for moon/sun and just happened to be using a combo that can produce a Blue Fire. Got my first BF using Ice/Fire on second attempt with these two. Before that I had 5 failed attempts using Snow/Fire. When trying a bit later for a second one, my Ice/ Fire combo wouldn't work, tried quiet a few times, then tried using my Blue Fire and ? (didn't write any second attempts down) that failed too. I even tried a third time after a break and still nothing, so I won't be selling either of my Blueys (too precious)
