Is anyone else having trouble buying gems it has crashed 3 times after I made the purchase and took my money but gave me no gems.

Yes it is .I thought when told them they would have fixed it by now so I tired to buy some more did the same thing took my money crashed when got back on no gems.

I noticed the DragonVale Sandbox gives two suggestions for a Silver Dragon. The first is Cold/Mine which only has two outcomes: Mine or Silver but the fails are all 10 hrs. The other is Air/Mine which has many different possible outcomes most of which are below the 10 hr fails of Cold/Mine. My question is this: since the Cold/Mine only has two possible outcomes are my chances of getting a Silver much better than Air/Mine? The 10 hr fails of Cold/Mine are driving me crazy and I don't want to keep using that combo unless my chances of getting the Silver are much better.
I think it is all random. I have not had much luck with silver dragon have been using cold mine since we got it I just see what works but this one looks like its going to be a pain for me, I see some people have already gotten it I have had no luck either. Good luck .
I actually came here to ask if anyone had any luck with cold/mine. I also have been using only this combo and so far had only mine fails. Its probably just a matter of time, but I am already developing a twitch. I want to get it before end of August for obvious reasons.

Ok, I'm reading through this site and it is claiming that whether or not you end up with a Sun or Moon depends on if it is night or day when you breed. I thought this theory had been debunked a long time ago.
Did not realize it said that about Sun and Moon. Had not checked out the whole site. The combo they gave for Seasonal worked for me so thought I would try them for Silver.
I just checked and now this "speculation" has been added to the DV Wikia. I wish I tracked this kind of stuff. I have 5 moons and 5 Suns (and have sold several Sun/Moon eggs over the months.). But I could not tell you what time of the day it was when I bred them.
I wonder if it has something to do with the "new" breeding rules. I am currently breeding dragons that I do not have 2 of and I have noticed that some of the combos have changed since I first bred them.
Me too Euge. I have been running all the combos on here, including air/mine and not even close. I think since this is gonna be one of those "aw chit" dragons to get, I will just go back to one cave trying occasionally. Blizzard, nice with the new dragons, love it. But like everyone else I would like a place to "show em off". I defy a dev to design a park where you can have enough room to be aesthetic and show one of each dragon as a grown up, a babe, an egg, with decorations, housing and attractions. Maybe I am nuts, but I can't do it. For heavens sakes, right now I am selling dragons in the hiber cave just to have room for new ones. Korvaire
Same here, mine after mine after mine..... On the other hand, I just realised I've been playing Dragonvale for over a year ) F.
I have tired air/mine,cold/metal,snow/metal,steel/mine,lichen/metal and steel/storm many fails and speed ups no dragon. I see on the dragonvale wiki it says metal/storm,metal/ice and steel/storm. There are so many combos with this I think it is more like rainbow for me and maybe really hard to get. Good luck everyone as soon has I find a combo that works I will let you know.
