Sandbox is showing the best combo for the new silver dragon is cold and mine; this will yield mine as a fail or silver. Any combo with cold and metal should work. The breed/hatch time is 47 hours unless you have anything upgraded. At least the treasure habitat holds two dragons so you can have a gold and silver together. Also the hidden ironwood is in the market now.

Too many dragons! I still haven't gotten Gold Olympus, Peridot, Seasonal, Rain or Ironwood yet, and now there's a new dragon! I do like that DV continuously adds new dragons, but I don't have time to get them before a new dragon is released. Do you think I should give up on the Peridot and try for the others or not?
Oh yes, I'm not the only one! lol! I need another Reindeer and Bones too! I have not have the luxury of seeing a Bones egg in my hatchery yet; I do hope they come back this year.
I think you should continue with Peridot, since it is limited. Olys, Seasonal, Rain and Ironwood are here to stay so... It's your choice though~
For some reason, the sandbox has changed to Air/Mine or Cold/Mine now. Nevertheless, good luck with breedings and hopefully everyone will get all them!
Maybe I will, but it's kind of frustrating with all the fails and the fact that I have to borrow my sister's iPod to access my DV, which she doesn't lend often.

I'm glad there's a lot of options for the silver dragon. I still need cold eggs to display, so it works for me.
I'm not too worried about seeing the egg for the Bone dragon since I hear it's identical to the Lava egg. I would like to have one though.
Oh yeah, I got one (fireworks) too! Didn't dawn on me that it was unusual .. till I read the forum. I can't believe it, but I only have 1 Cold dragon - how'd that happen!?! Probably sold one off, duh.
Really? On Dragonvale Wiki, the Bone dragon egg is white with cracks on it. The Lava is a red egg with grey stones on it...
And a Cold dragon egg takes 12 hours to incubate too. I had the luxury of waiting for one to hatch while I was trying to upgrade my Cold shrine when I was trying to get Pearl. Although you can try Air/Mine, but there are so many more possibilities with it...
Yay!! Finally have a Seasonal on the way! Firework/Plant. Thanks Aiera! No luck with Silver or Ironwood yet. Really need more habitats and hibernation space or I'll have to start selling off a few spares or--- Rainbows. Belated grats to eugekava for that second Peridot!

Congrats on the Seasonal Foxy! I'm glad this combo works for you! For Ironwood though, I got it with Plant/Chrome (level 10s) after numerous tries. Perhaps it will come easily for you. No luck on Silver yet either for me. Trying out Air/Mine for a possible 2nd Steel dragon and regular old Cold/Mine.
Am so far behind with all these new dragons and long fails! (refusing to speed up with gems). Am trying for silver Olympus at the minute. The only combo that has worked for me is sonic/sandstorm, that gave me Gold and two bronze Olympus. Really want another peridot for display too still haven't even attempted gold, silver, rain, scoria, ironwood. hopefully all of these new dragons are here to stay. Could do with some shorter fail times though BFS!!! Good luck to everyone who still has a long haul ahead, well done to those who've been lucky
no DV for awhile I won't be able to go on my DragonVale until December, because I've been using my sister's iPod and I won't be able to since I'm going to college. I know I'm getting an iPod touch or iPhone for my birthday on December, so until then, I'll probably miss all the Gemstone dragons and limited dragons in between unless I manage to coax my second generation iPod to load DV without quitting. To all my DV friends, I'm sorry I won't be able to send gifts, and you don't need to send me gems when I'm gone.
