Grrrr, a 20 hour and a 24 hour Ruby fail this morning after using all gems speeding up a 48 hour fail. Soo annoyed!!
So any ideas on silver and gold oly dragons all I'm getting is crystal and lava fails I'm getting so annoyed!!! I don't want this to be the only ones I don't have!!! Also has anyone gotten a different oly dragon from breeding the other two together? Or is that even possible?
Acoording to WIKI if you breed two OLY dragons together you will most likely get one of the parents and the less common one. So if you breed silver and bronze you will most likely get bronze. I have one Gold and want the second one. Really sick of crystal fails. So I am going to try my luck with OLY Gold and Oly Silver. See what happens. At least I'd be getting Oly dragons instead of fails.
I want 3! But then I used up all my gems, didn't I! @Hooked and Andy - sorry to hear about the ruby. Hope you have a better luck with peridot.
I got all three of my Olympus dragons with blazing /crystal.Many try's and lots of speed ups. I have not gotten two golds only one.Many gems have been used too.The gold Olympus seems to be the hardest. Good luck everyone.
Sorry to hear this, have been visiting and hoping to see the egg appear. Sounds like you have a bit of peace about it together. It would be so hard for me to not use gems for speed ups on the last day, would go down to the wire swinging away to catch the elusive bugger. It's completely a random chance occurrence, some get one or more quickly and others try all month. Have you threatened your Scorch and Chromes with timeouts or a vacation from your islands if they don't get it done for you? Just checking to see if a little leg twisting might work, probably not? Olympic dragons on the way! I just got two 35 hour breedings. One with Butterfly (L) and Tree (R) in the breeding cave. The other one in the Epic was with two new Blazing (L) and Lava (R). I can't believe my luck this morning. Yay!
Aww sorry Hooked and Andy... hard to believe you were shut out on Ruby. My daughter was too. Today is her birthday, hoping she gets several Peridot to make up for Ruby. Btw I LOVE Peridot too! Hey are you guys hatching oly-extras or displaying the eggs?
Congrats! I saw that Butterfly/Tree combo on Sandbox but was hesitant to try since there are so many more possible fails. So far I only have 2 Olybronze but another on the way with Blazing/Crystal. Hoping for Olysilver or Olygold.
Sorry about the Ruby dragon Andy and Hooked I hope you get more luck with the Peridot to make up for it! For the Olympics, my Silver hatched this morning while my Gold is still incubating. They came from my same pair of Air and Quake (level 10s). I got another 35 hour timer with my second Air and Quake, so I hope this is my Bronze. Congrats to everyone on getting their Olympics and good luck to those still trying!
I might hatch oly-extras first (if I can) so I can display one whenever I have the time. If not, I can still breed them whenever I want even though the Gold and Silver would not come as easily as it would now.
I'm so sorry hooked and Andy. No Ruby sucks. Sending massive gemstone vibes your way so you get the Peridot smoothly and real fast. I got my second Gold Olympus today, thank you for the combo Thornefeather! Sandstorm/Lightning on EBI. The first one came with the combo Sonic/Lava. Tried breeding Gold Oly/Silver Oly and Gold Oly/Bronze Oly and got only the lower value dragons both tries with each combo. (result - 2 Silver Oly, 2 Bronze Oly) Sonic/Lava - 1 Gold Oly and 2 Bronze Oly Blazing/Crystal - 2 Silver Oly Sandstorm/Lightning - 1 Gold Oly I was worried I would't be able to display all three Olys, but now I can relax and concentrate on the August gemstone. The description makes note of a thorny plant, so my first breed was with iron and cactus. Got a freakin crystal!
Had to get up early this morning and decided to try one more time for a Ruby display egg...and I got it. Going to work on the Olympus dragons now...have 2 Bronze so far...before I concentrate on Peridot.
I am waiting for a confirmed breeding pair for the August Gemstone Dragon. Speculatively, I tried Iron with Lichen, and I got a Steel.
Aww Hooked, sorry you didn't get a Ruby... You seem to struggle on them all, more so than me! I did manage to get one in the first week, but no display egg which I'm disappointed about. Good luck with Peridot and the Olympic dragons!!!
