Well, you've got time for at least two more tries (assuming you have the island and the cave - I'm ashamed to admit that I bought gems so I could get the island!). I'm after a Ruby egg for display too, and am also running out of time - my cave pair have a 48 hour 'fail', my island pair an 8 hour fail.

Ruby good luck for everyone Hi everyone! Hope everyone gets their Ruby dragon during the next couple days. Hooked, have you or your daughter had any 31 hour luck today? Anybody have any good breeding combos/advice for Panlong? I have had so many fails with that it is getting ridiculous Hoping to get one soon since I will have to concentrate on Peridot when it comes out, being my birth month Good luck to everybody still trying for Ruby!
I got my panlong using mud and blazing. Anything with those four elements (earth, water, air and fire) would give you at least a chance. That combo is what the sandbox has. It's a hard dragon to get though. But you have until next February before the panlong disappears from the market.
Best combo I have for that is a pair of level 15 panlongs Seriously tho, they're worth the trouble. 3 of them maxed out in an earth habitat generate more cash than a rainbow.

Fog / Lava got me 2 Panlongs. My sympathies, I spent many weeks in pursuit of them. Good luck! Yeah, I'm pretty sick of Crystal, Blazing, and now Quake. Finally have a Bronze Olympus in the hatchery (Sonic/Lava) and just tried Sandstorm/Sonic = 28! Woohoo! Using up my gems to hurry fails, but what else are they for?
Yep, two more tries this morning after speeding up the fails, got another 48 hour fail in breeding cave and another 24 hour fail in EBC. That's the end of that then..
You may have one more shot tomorrow morning. The ruby didn't replace the pearl until about halfway through July 1st. So you might be able to squeak in one more breeding attempt. On a side note, what were your 48 hour fails... Gold or rainbow?
Got my first Olympus dragon with sandstorm and lightning the other day. Figured I had a bronze since they are the easiest to get. Put it in the hatchery last night and zoomed in....it's a gold! It's sitting in their with my regular gold dragon, a crystal and a blazing. Just tried sandstorm and lightning again and I'm getting another crystal
Got my first Olympus! I just got a Silver Olympus from my EBI! @Thornefeather - Congratulations on your Gold Olympus! Best wishes for everyone who hasn't gotten the Ruby yet.
Yeah, hopefully. Had three Gold and one Rainbow and now this one. I think it's time to start on the Olympic dragons lol. Congratulations on Olympic Gold! That's one more than Team GB have got so far!
Most recent breeding attempt: 31 hours, yay I'll get my Ruby egg for my collection! Took me 10 gems worth of speeding things up though. Good luck to anyone who is trying for a Ruby.
I am sad to report that neither of us has gotten a ruby. It is now 11:26pm and we have officially thrown in the towel...first dragon I have not got and I have been playing for 10 months!!!
