Hatched a Ruby today Managed to breed it with only 5 minutes wi-fi a day as I was away for the week. After my struggle to get a Pearl it will be nice to have a relaxing month with Ruby.
Ahhh! New dragons already?! I've barely gotten over the Ruby, Evergreen, and Firework! Now I need to free up my breeding island (a second Ruby) to make way for Pollen and Malachite. (1st fail with Metal and Willow in cave, but yeah ) Congrats to Girlpower, Solfav, and Lel on their first Ruby! And Eugekava for your 3rd Ruby! Amazing luck nonetheless! And I agree with Aly on your Malachite story. I was a bit disgusted with it at first, but after reading your post, I felt some pity for it now. And congrats to Daily and others who have gotten their Pollen and/or Malachite~ Good luck to those still getting their Rubies, Pollen and Malachite now!
Brilliant story Eugekava! I noticed that a lot of the opposite element dragons like the bluefire, frostfire, sandstorm, plasma and current are recolors. The Malachite dragon doesn't appear in my Dragonvale store, but the pollen one does. I wonder why.
Rough week Well, I just lost my job yesterday but the dragon gods are being nice to me and just gave me my ruby on the EBI. Also got the new pollen dragon first try with air and plant. Got a second one as a fail trying to get the hidden malachite dragon. Oh well. Keep at it all of those who still need a ruby!
Boo about the job loss; I'm so sorry. We've gone through that twice in one year. Finally have a solid one now. Its the pits when that happens. Hope the job gods send you something soon ... Maybe they're related to dragon gods & good luck will follow the rubies.

Got a malachite Yesterday arvo I thought I had a malachite cooking (confirmed a yes this morning) and I believe I am now cooking Ruby #2 Malachite was second try with metal (13) / willow (15) used this combo as it can produce pollen also...egg could be mistaken for a willow at first glance. Gonna rename him Hollywood Ruby was with my same lvl 15 combos both in normal breeding cave #1 was scorch/chrome...# 2 is chrome/scorch The other combo pair of 11's which until yesterday had been busy on the EBI since July 1 had done nothing, so gonna stick to this successful lvl 15 pair for rest of month (seemed to work best for me with Pearl too but they were lvl 11's) I had been sticking with the order of scorch/chrome but this morning I decided it was time to switch the order and whammo (good decision) @ Eugekava, thanks mate....seems like good advice @ Thornefeather really sorry to hear of your job loss, hope it will very temporary Nice to hear you got your Ruby at least. Next week won't be nice for me either....my precious little dog is having cataract surgery in two days time - left eye( she's only 5 1/2) Very involved care both prior to after surgery, wish it was just a bad dream Also very expensive (paid in full on the day). Fingers crossed for positive outcome and no post surgery complications.
I think the pollen dragon is my new fave...it's so pretty! Is it a limited-time dragon, or here to stay?

Me too! - malachite on 2nd try. And I'm hopeful for another Ruby with my level 15 Scorch/Chrome... same way as my 1st. Sorry about your little dog... I'm a dog lover too. Bummer.. 5 1/2 is so young... my doggie was 7 with cataracts, but I couldn't do the surgery. Nevertheless don't worry..they can do great things with cataract surgery. Wishing all the best.
Pollen Just hatched my first Pollen.. love it, love the color and design, the fairy wings. My new fave dragon. And cracks me up that it sneezes. Good one, Backflip.
Thorne sorry to hear about your job, happened to me twice earlier this year too, finally got another 4 weeks ago so hang on in there something will turn up GP sorry to hear about your dog as well, but vets can do great things these days, I am sure she will come through with you looking after her, and all the vibes from your forum friends.
Congrats on the Rubies and the Malachite Girlpower! I hope your dog will get better soon. I love dogs, but I cannot have one because I am allergic to fur and pollen (ironically). What kind of dog do you have (out of curiosity)? @Lao-shu: I believe they are here to stay. We have not have a Metal/Plant hybrid yet, so it will be a disappointment for all of us if BS decided to make it limited. @Foxy: Will do~ I found it pretty interesting myself. 2012 is a very unique year compared to those we have been through. And congrats on your Malachite and Pollen! You got me curious on how the Pollen sneezes now.

I got my first pollen and my second ruby today! I named my pollen Allergens. Now I'm trying to get the forge. My game has also been running a lot smoother lately instead of crashing all the time.
Ahchoo Congrats! I also have Ruby#2 and Pollen#2 in the oven. And hatched my first Malachite today. Love the name Allergens- ha! This dragon is open to some funny name possibilities. Maybe I'll name mine Asthma or Ragweed.. or Ahchoo?
